    Last I knew about 2 years ago, it was under 400k in US sales, so I guess it is possible.

    I question the validity of this award. If you use the searchable database on the RIAA website (http://www.riaa.com/goldandplatinumdata.php?table=SEARCH), it only lists Lost Dogs as being certified Gold.

    Also, the last Soundscan numbers I saw had Lost Dogs at about 400,000 copies sold. But, then again RIAA certifications are for units shipped rather than copies sold.

    One last thing, who's Dan Harley?

    That's not really how they work it, is it? Surely it's units sold and not actual discs.

    If your looking for sealed, between $100-150. Less if opened but not much less. Sounds great on vinyl by the way.

    Did you know that record companies used to grab whatever record was lying around, spray paint them the appropriate colour and stick the lables, ect for whatever band/artists it's going to prior to framing? I had a friend that used to do that. Sometimes the painted records didn't have the same number of tracks listed on the record label...

    I shit you not.

    And to get platinum status in Canada...the real number is either 100,000 or 500,000 - the Diamond status is 1 million, which is VERY hard to do in Canada, apparently...

    hey well until you came along i didnt even know they used real records, i just thought it was stuff that was black and round that could be a record if people uh... put songs on it.. *obviously does NOT know how a record is made*. can you really spin those gold, platinum etc records? i just figured the paint would get in the way.. but what do i know :D

    Bruce Springsteen - Live 1975-1985 (3 disks) went 13x platinum. It's sold just over 4 million. :p
