one of the best moments of my time spent in Australia studying abroad was when i lied down in my big comfy Pearl Jam moonlight graham hoodie (RIP ) in the grass, put on my ipod and watched the stars in the sky. it's awesome looking up at the sky, it's comforting how the sky sort of envelops you in its immensity.

I don't know many of the names of the stars and constellations, but on a frigid clear night (sub zero in particular), we live in the country enough that you can really see well. I keep hoping to see Northern Lights someday. (We are in upstate NY near Canada).
