I think its high time now, PJ should tour India. We all have been waiting for that 'Thin Air' to turn everything 'Black' and make us 'Just Breathe' and bring ourselves 'Alive'. That 'Present Tense' is all we want. One night is all we need.
We love you Eddie and you gotta let us show you that ! Don't make us wait more !

Sounds nice but I used to employ about 8 different guys from India and not one of them had ever heard of Pearl Jam.

Having spent lots of time in wonderful India, I wholeheartedly agree with this. The crowds would be totally immense! :D:D:lol:

I'd be interested to see the reception of a tour in Asia in general. I suspect they would not get this level of fandom in mass quantities, but I don't know. They did tour Asia way back when but don't think they've been back since. I seem to recall a show in Singapore in 1996? 1995? I feel you, though. I feel fortunate that I have access to see my favourite band in the world live.
  • I have been lucky enough to see Eddie live during his Solo Tour in Boston, 2008. But I'm sure you all know how it is to see them all perform together ! That is what we all have been longing for.
And if we look at the statistics, if even 5% of the population in India follows PJ, you have got a following of more than 50 million !!! Not a number you can overlook. We have waited and envied enough.. Come and please our souls :)

My daughter lived in southern India for about 4 months in 2009 & she remarked how often she walked down a street to hear PJ blaring from the shops. ( She also was a source of envy to those fans cause she was from Seattle ;)
They are very beloved there & I have several IRL & Facebook friends from Tamil Nadu & Mumbai who are big fans too.
You must be the change you want to see in the world

I really hope they eventually do shows like this! There are so many magical spots in that country they could play! Like imagine a show outside in a desert field near Jaisalmer! Or up in the hills near McLeod Ganj! I would love it. Would definitely fly over there for it!
