I finally gave in and bought the Ames book!

Obviously the green one, Orange would have been two rich for my blood had it still been available. I can't wait for it to come in all of it's beauty.

Which one of you crazy bastards got the orange, and which of you normal folk got the green?

    Congrats! You'll love it especially if you're a collector. I have the ltd. edition as well as other poster books. Very interesting and beautifully made. :)

    I bought it recently myself, and am looking forward to receiving it. It takes for ever to get anything here in Canada.

    I was thinking about buying one but haven't got around to it. I guess I should make one of these threads that say "I finally gave in and bought the Benaroya vinyl!" ha. Saw one Ebay yesterday with a buy it now for 750 and well I gave in.

    wow you are a betterman than me... i felt bad spending $61 on Yield, I don't think that I could ever buy a Benaroya.

    love love my orange ames book number 208!!! i use it for reference all the time, so nice to have. the best part is all the original sketches in the back. so cool to see what the thought process was.

    I have the green edition and I have never regretted I bought it. I watch it quite often. it's really a great item.

    Got the orange and love it, granted the prints were shite, but the extra pages in the book are cool, perhaps not worth the extra $ but its nice nonetheless

    I have both :D (I know im crazy, but I just had to get both of them), one I use for the coffee table book the ltd edition is up on the shelf :)

    It took me a while to give into this one too. I hate everyone on this board who posts pics of posters all the time because now I'm obsessed too :).

    However, I will only buy posters from shows I went to. So this book satisfies my poster craze for now, but they better release in a new one later on in their career.

    Damn! I couldn't imagine dropping $750 on something like that! Must be nice to have that kind of cash laying around and being able to spend it on a whim. ;D
