I am completely in the dark how an oversight of this nature got by 10 Club. It is inexcusable and hope 'Green Disease' is not setting in here where 10 Club realized they were losing cash because people go VIP and shut it down. Oh well. Good luck tomorrow guys? My hats back in there
Anyway, if one wants good tickets you can always get good tickets----$. I better go to church now and pray.

no...I don't think I have much to stand on....I may let Jon Yates of the Chicago Tribune know about it. This is his type of story:

Tenclub were just making sure others didn't get screwed by Live Nation by posting this.
This is clearly a Live Nation salesperson screw up. Selling tickets agreed to be secured by Tenclub. I'm guessing yor salesperson missed the memo or meeting on that one.
Good luck with tickets, and a refund if they cannot come through.
You should have dealt with the original saleperson before hitting up the CEO though, might have had more impact and a complaint trail to follow.
I hate to say it but Ticket companies, they sell tickets and that is what they do. Once sold they don't give a shit what happens. They have the money.
You'd better hope they sort out your issue before the sale goes public. Actually, if Tenclub's statement is correct, they should have contacted you in regard to this error by now right?0 -
After yet another ticket on-sale debacle, I think Sawyer's claim that this is a mom and pop shop should be more and more clear to those who were disagreeing with that assessment earlier in this thread.
Great band. Great fans. Not-so-great operating of the 10C.0 -
You guys (10c mgmt) did not make things more convenient, more affordable (think of all the lost GDP today) or provide any of your intended goals.
I hope you are volunteers and are not paid employees of the band. You should be ashamed and the real band (not 10c mgmt) should hold you accountable for not being the professionals they deserve as a world class act.
Leave the ticket sales to the pros.
You have become what the members of the band stood up against...a monopoly.
You interfered with the free market and failed miserably today. Younahould be ashamed and fired. I bet volunteers could do a better job (AGAIN) than whoever wad in charge.
Focus on your mission statement, if you even have one.

Sounds like someone took a basic economics class, and felt the need to share what he learned!
What qualifies them as a monopoly?0 -

Yeah, we need several 10 clubs selling tickets...this monopoly-thing is BS... :roll:How I choose to feel is how I am0 -
looks like they ended up leaving it to the "pros" in the end. Now Ticketmaster is handling the canadian fan club onsale. So, yeah, my "basic econ class" seems to be spot on.
and joejoe, i got mine all set. nothing basic about my education.0 -

THEY LISTENED
"In an effort to fix today's Canadian Tour Pre Sale Meltdown, Ten Club is partnering up with general public vendors Ticketmaster Canada and others in order to get the Fan Club designated tickets into the hands of our faithful members."
It's funny how so many of you hate on reality. i spit the truth and so many of you just follow the herd off the cliff0 -

The 10C fucked up. They probably got fucked by their IT consultants/business partners - bad advice/bad hire.... Maybe Tim asked Eddie for better servers and Eddie said servers aint rock n roll. Maybe Jeff said they cost too much. Maybe Kat spilled a coffee in the server room, or or or....you have no clue what's going on behind the scenes, nor who's to blame for what...so instead of throwing the most obvious figurehead(s) under the bus first, how about letting cooler heads prevail and seeing what can be done to fix this?....you know, like a community coming together, instead of a lynch mob. Some of us have a little empathy for people we've had business/personal relationships with for years. it's part of a business RELATIONSHIP to see past these....uh....little hiccups0 -
you don't make any sense. I presume you do not work in a profit center? I would speculate but I would then be censored by the mods, so whatever.0

how many years do you think this should go on?
A lynch mob is a community.
