By saying 'extra burden on our planet' seems like you believe this global warming/climate change nonsense.
You don't mind paying a carbon tax? Do you have a very high income?
I'd like to see the battlers out there with low incomes be happy to pay it.
Sorry but if I am hot or cold I will turn on the heater/air con.
Btw I am not fat and I prefer using technology to keep me warm/cool.

so you prefer to pay for your heating cool
pay more for it, me and my family will snuggle under a dooner together whilst watching a movie or whatever. but i hope you have to pay more, making you think maybe snuggling up with those you love isnt such a bad thing
sad that you put the care for my planet in the basket of a scientific beleif that has arrived in only the last 10 years. ive held this beleif since i was a child
no im not highly paid, and i work in industry where carbon taxes are aimed to reduce my companies profit. ie mining.

also i do have an airconditioner, we got that after my daughter was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. she loses body salts very quickly in the hotter months. but we are smart with our use. we try to not waste as much as we can.
thus I support putting extra cost on somthing people can actually think about, can reduce their use of precious resources and the attributed pollutions incurred.
we are quickly running out of oil , coal etc we have to think about how we move forward

I don't care about the planet.
I throw rubbish on the floor or out the car window all the time, especially McDonald's bags and wrappers.
I also own a heavily polluting vehicle, I really need to fix that exhaust.

This is all very amusing. My house is 60 in the summer and 70 in the winter. I like walking around in shorts 365 days a year in my house (leap years I wear pants 1 day). And I can still snuggle without wasting that evil electricity on the Tv.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
