I just saw PJ 20. The film brought me back to my teens. It was awesome. I am looking forward to another 20 years.0

Maybe it has been asked before, but I can't understand why is there no No Code on the dvd's?
They skipped it pretty much in the PJ20 movie and The Kids Are Twenty had ZERO No Code songs. Makes me really sad and puzzled. And I know I'm not the only one."I surfaced and all of my being was enlightened"0 -

Dorky?! I think not...48 year old Grammie of two here...& age is just a number. Just joined myself not long ago...its been on my list of "things" for a very long time...the only thing about age is you really do start thinking about the things you shoulda woulda coulda done. I'll prefer not the "bucket" list but instead..."get off your freakin' ass & live!! list"....watching PJ 20 was a ringer for me...so many memories & it brought back alot of joy...I was smitten twenty years ago & still am. Music is a very personal thing when it reverberates right down to your very soul, my ears are blessed, even if my vocal chords are not...who cares? I sing it out anyway!!
Film was excellent, want more....on second reading of the book & I'm like a kid again waiting for Chritmas because my Mom bought me the soundtrack, 2 CD's I only had on Itunes & the movie, which I've only watched on good ol' PBSAnd...I'll drink to "keepin' on"...even if it is geritol...as long as I can still DANCE!!

 Well, pretty soon I will have to change my name to Over55fan! Gramma here too! I agree that their songwriting and music have reached my soul! I've never felt so strongly about this before, altho music has always been a major part of my life. I had older brothers who intro'ed me at a very young age to all the great sounds. My hubby laughs at me when I'm singing with my headphones on, I too, don't have co-operating vocal cords! I love when people ask what my stickman tattoo means. I tell them if they don't already know, they won't understand!

Just one problem with The Kids are Twenty: my three year old kids won't let me get passed scene #15. They just can't get enough of seeing the monkeys and Ed showing up in the background. I'm really anxious to find out what scenes #16 and following contain...
Montreal 98, 00, 03, 05, 11
Toronto 03, 06, 11
Ottawa 05, 11

Getting back to the book, I love the parts about the cd's! How about a NEW BOOK, just about the songs, with all the lyrics and more about the writing and collaborations that brought the finished product to life!!
That would be sooooo sweet!!!!!Later, Lolly0 -
-Emma- wrote:I bought the PJ20 dvd yesterday (just the regular version) and I loved watching the extras on there. The extra footage with the tour of Ed's house was very cool!
Same here! Picked up the regular version here in Perth, and loved the extra's!
I also really enjoyed the Stone Gossard Seattle tour! I have been to many of those places, but it's great that there are some more things to look up if I ever go to Seattle again!"I'll ride the wave...where it takes me.."0 -
very nice mementos from the anniversary year. i saw the film in a theater that sold beer! i bought the soundtrack earlier that day at fye & got a sweet poster of the inside band pic. the book is a great read. i've read it at least 3 times so far. the dvd i keep watching. i had the deluxe but worked out a good trade for someone that missed out. all in all a great year. can't wait for the next album, though..."It's best to live in grace before you're forced to."
