While I don't speak for her:
Typically, you can just post in this thread, PM laura, contact her via Facebook, or whatever. Then, you can either send it to her, or bring it to the party. Obviously, if you plan on bringing it, showing up as early as possible would probably be recommended, as it gives more time for it to be sold.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -
So right now we have submitted a proposal to the Ten Club to see if we can have the fundraiser actually at Alpine Valley on premises during the weekend festivities, either as a tailgate or inside the doors in a booth or something.
Alternatively, since we'll all be hanging out & partying on Friday night (place/time TBA) we will make Friday night the preparty if 10C says no. This is not the optimal choice at all, but may be necessary.
Remember... we're going to need lots of raffle donations.. so dig through your memorabilia for duplicates and donateWe are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and can provide a tax receipts

That is exactly the correct answer
If you PM me what you'd like to donate I can add it to the list and then you just bring it with you to the preparty and we'll hook you up with a tax receipt! xoxoxox0 -
Added everyone (I think??) At some point the RSVP list may be too much to manage, cuz I think it's about to get crrrrrraaazzzzzzzzzzzzzy!starmap3333 wrote:I'll be there. Where is this, just somewhere in the lot, or... ??
i'd like to donate but i'm flying and travelling with a backpack and an extra pair of boxers.
We're going to try for the lot, or hopefully inside the venue. Otherwise it will be Friday night!RFTC wrote:will be there w/wife, cross-fingers for tix...

Looks like the spreadsheet is toast. someone suggested having a log-in to prevent it from getting deleted again...? We are headed your way!!!! (jaamfaan) Leaving the kids home this time too. Mixed emotions there.
I've been fixing it on a daily basis hehe... Though it'll be different not having them with you, I think you'll have a great time. Just make sure to bring them home PJ20 presents!ilonarose wrote:Jeff & I will be attending. (Please add us to the list) I have a mint poster I would like to donate. I am thinking, maybe we met at a 10C party in Pittsburg a few years back? I know I had a blast. Great music, nice place, super people...Sometimes, meeting fellow 10C people is as much fun as the show! I would love to help, don't know how much I can do...but I do have some time on my hands, so if I can do something, let me know!
Pittsburg...that was an awesome party. We had Ten the band play if I remember correctly? That was a packed house and you're right a great crowd. You do look familiarIf you are willing, we'll definitely need volunteers to work the table even on shifts and we'd love to have you
bburpee wrote:Okay, forgive my ignorance, but I don't really understand what this fundraiser is all about, how it works, etc. For someone who's never attended one of these, what's the deal?
I have some knickknacks I might be able to donate, like a Soundgarden poster from their Guitar Hero/CBGB show in Los Angeles (custom black ink on white board, relatively rare) ... and my wife and I will be there, so what should the uninitiated know?
At it's most basic, the preparties are a way for you to come to a PJ show and hang out before hand with fellow PJ fans from here on the forums, Facebook and wherever else who share your love and passion. At the parties, your PJ freak flag can fly without retribution or mockery, you can trade stories, email addresses and make friends for life.
Since the band has so profoundly affected us all, we wanted to give back and turned them into fundraisers that raise money and educate about different charitable organizations the band and the fans support. We are so blessed to have the music, our health and our friends it's a perfect way to say thanks and give back to people, animals and causes that aren't as fortunate as we are.
So basically... show up... come up to the table and find us (I'm easy to spotbig tall loud curly redhead) and we'll get you a nametag (if you want) and introduce you around. Buy some raffle tickets if you want... mingle... (don't be shy!) and party it up! later in the party we do the raffle and an auction and by then I'd be you'll have at least 5 new friends

Last October, we had a wishlist party here in Columbus, in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the first show. I gave a t-shirt.
Unfortunately, I completely forgot about that when April 2011 rolled around.

Brisk will be there? Should I bring him some cereal
I guess I never rsvp'd, you can add me, I know ArthurDent will be there and Melissa(Ozarkcoolchic)
Do you know if the food bank is providing containers? I'm contacting moving companies today to see if they will donate boxes for the STL fundraiser for the pet supplies we are collecting and also the stuff for Chris from Joplin. If I can get some boxes I'll see what me and Melissa can bring up.
Also will start looking for local Alpine/East Troy places to see if they will donate some GC.
I'm sure I can come up with something to donate. To 10c; "Your PJ tshirt should be tight enough to show you're a woman and loose enough to show you're a lady." - bionicamy0 -
