Really awesome to see some metal fans on here...I'm a diehard lifer metal fan who has loved PJ since 'Ten' was released. Most of my metal friends/acquaintances could never understand my love for PJ, and they used to be my "closet" band, although I was never ashamed of liking them and never hid it. But you know what I mean, perhaps...

anyway, gonna check out your show, cool playlists, seem to go a bit deeper than other like it...very cool man!

Thanks man, hope you enjoy what you hear. I do try to cover as much ground as I can with my shows. Metal is a huge genre with so many sub genres to it so it's nice to be able to mix it up a lot. Every week I try to play a a couple of bands I've never heard or heard of before. Helps keep it interesting.

    Why, Lord, oh why???? Hahahaha.

Good concept JDB. You should do a series like that. You could do Maiden (a Di'Anno, a Dickinson, a Bayley, and finish with a later Dickinson, perhaps).

You could do a Priest (a Halford and an Owens). What else?

You could be onto something here. Purple would have had a few vocalists, wouldn't they?

Yeah they have had other singers. A guy called Dave Williams replaced Ozzy in 77 but didn't work out so they brought Ozzy back for the Never Say Die album in 78. Ray Gillen was in the band for a while as was a guy called David Donato. Nothing was released with any of these guys. Rob Halford from Judas Priest has also sang for Sabbath live a few times but only as a fill in for Ozzy when he was sick. So yeah that's everyone who has been on an album.

Some of the Tony Martin stuff is really underrated I think. The Eternal Idol,The Headless Cross and Cross Purposes are all solid albums. Martin is a bit of a Dio clone but he still sounds cool. I actually did something similar to what you suggested a couple of months ago and played solo tracks from all of the Maiden vocalists in a row which was cool.
