Just in the process of starting up a facebook page for the show, basically just a place to put links to my show, setlists of my shows, pics and music vids etc. It would be cool if some of you checked it out and maybe gave it a like. Feel free to share pics, vids etc or if you would like to make a request put it in there and I'll play it for you. Cheers JDB.

Not really into too much metal anymore, must have mellowed in my age. Was right into the scene through most of the late 80's and 90's. Loved Slayer, Carcass, Metallica, Bolt thrower, Morbid Angel, Cannibal corpse, Pantera..but nothing came close to Sepultura for me. First heard Beneath the Remains in late 80's then when Arise cam out it blew my mind. Loved Chaos and Roots as well, but Arise will always be my fav metal album. Lucky enough to meet Max and Igor in Oz on their Chaos tour in 94 and they signed my longsleeve Arise shirt. Saw Soulfly in 99 as well at a festival. Hardly buy any metal anymore, but did get the Cavalera Conspiracy album, Inflikted, a couple of years ago. Max is my fav metal singer by a long way. The only metall I listen to now is Sepultura, Pantera and Slayer, just can't get into the newer stuff

Yeah man, Rollins band is some good shit. I remember going to a Motorhead show about four years ago and they played The End Of Silence over the PA while they were setting up Motorheads gear. Fuck it was cool, better than the opening bands hahaha.

Agreed, brilliant start to a fantastic album. Can't believe it's gonna be 20 years old next year. Hopefully they'll give it the deluxe remaster treatment, if any album deserves it that one does.

  • Thanks for playing my request JDB! Heard most of the show, and there's some great songs you put on. That song by the band that only had one album (can't remember the name now) was awesome. Sounded kind of like old Fates Warning. Looking forward to checking out the next show.

Great to hear you enjoyed the show. That band were called Heretic and the song was The Search, it's from an album called Breaking Point. I had a quick check on Amazon and the only cd available of it is used and costs over $100. I downloaded that track from itunes so that would be the place to go if you want to buy the album. Thanks for listening man.
