Not a LBC fan at all although it does open the Garden dvd properly. In 96 at Randalls Island 1 they opened with Last Exit which got everyone amped but that also could of been because it was their first mass NYC appearance in a while. In San Diego 03 they opened with Betterman which you would think was weird but it the crowd singing right out of the gate.

Of the girl, opened Jones Beach1, 2000, I 'm pretty sure, and Long Road, Uniondale, 03, and LBC, MSG1 03, I love Long Road, but Hard to Imagine, would be sick!
After listening to the SF boots from 2006 this week I am now dying to hear Of The Girl open a show. It was stellar on the SF boot!
Oh no, not Of The Girl. That was the first song of my first ever PJ show and to say it was dissapointing is an understatement. It felt like it just kind of dribbled out and was not the way to start a show whatsoever.
I've never heard them play Release so I hope that opens one of the MSG shows. I would put money on Inside Job opening one of the nights though.

I doubt you would be disappointed if you saw it in SF 06. They were all sillouted in red light and it was not dribbled out at all. It really became one of my favorite songs by them from that performance and it wasn't really on my radar beforehand.
I´ve seen Corduroy, Go X2, Sometimes and Long road open a show.
I´d love to see PJ open with one of these in NYC:
Wash
Can´t keep
Oceans
Of the girl

inside job or Severed Hand will be fine thanks. the one thing Avocado blessed the world with was two great openers.
LBC makes me want to vomit, to put it nicely.
I doubt Severed Hand will be the opener but I do think there's a strong chance it could be the only song to be played both nights at MSG.

I think it would be great to see blood or breakerfall to start off the night. Would really set the tone to a great night.
I saw Breakerfall open Saratoga 00 and it was a great way to get the show going. Same as Corduroy at Hartford 98 and Go at the one of the Boston VFC shows in 04.
Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"

Been saying that would be a great opener ever since Lost Dogs came out. It just seems so obvious...I am amazed they haven't busted it out to start a show (or any time for that matter).

I agree, All Night would be great as an opener, it would catch everyone off gaurd. I wonder if they haven't played it since Jack was drumming on it.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...
I'd actually prefer that they didn't open with LBC, since I've already heard that twice as an opener... although it's a good opener, I'd be happier with
Can't Keep, Of the Girl, or Sometimes. Something more upbeat would be great too, like Life Wasted, Porch, or Brain of J.

agreed.
release for night 1, sometimes for night 2.

Release would be a classic opener for a classic venue. Go would be good for the 2nd night.
Please don't: Crazy Mary, LBC, Better Man.
I'm hoping for Oceans down in Florida.

No, I'm sure there will be a lot of songs played both nights. See: Ed's solo shows and SF 06.

Footsteps or Fatal would be awesome!
Also, would love to hear Thumbing My Way or I Am Mine. Would be ok with me if they skipped Betterman & Daughter this time around.

Oh, that would truly be amazing. All or None is a remarkable song, and sets the mood for the Vic show, one of my fav boots of all time
