  • I thought overall Boston 1 was better than Boston 2 in 06.... but Leash probably trumped any overall comparison I could make.

Only been to 2 shows and they were back to back Camden in 06. First night had a bit better setlist but I had a much better time the 2nd night. Not really sure if that was due to the band or not.

I was at the Night 1 show and i have to say it was a little dissapointing after the fantastic 05 shows. I remember seeing the setlist for Night 2 and regretting that i didn't go for both nights.

Ya...the boot is awesome. Probably the best version of Whipping I've ever heard.

Well in 2000, Night 2 in Seattle was much better than Night one.

    It was the band.

I think some of it has to do with not having to travel before the 2nd night. They are relaxed, had a great time the night before and want to top it.

I do think MSG 1 is slightly better than 2 though.

I've yet to see anyone even attempt to make an argument that night 1 was better.

There's no question night 2 was better.

I agree. I kept getting the bono show and night one confused. Is anybody else getting tired of them opening with Release in Toronto?

Night 2 is usually better, but I think even the band has said before, the 2nd to last show on the tour is usually the best.

Gorge I much better than Gorge II. May have been due to many of the bands family and freinds attending night I....heck even deciding on the set.

From my experiences of an eclectic mix of concerts
if there is only 2 nights, then night 2 .

I made up my mind, but I made it up both ways.

  • Certainly there exists an undeniable tendency in my trend analysis that indicates night 2’s are Mo Bettah

Although Irvine one was pretty hot….:)

IMO its hard to say. 2nd Nights have a reputation for being better but there have been notable exceptions. I loved MSG 2 in 03, but really wish I'd been at MSG I as well. Same feeling about E. Rutherford I, which I couldn't attend vs. E. Rutherford 2 06 which I was at. Its probably that I regret any show I couldn't get to that was on my side of the country though.

I think if you have the chance to go to a show, you should take it, regardless if you think it's going to be a better show than the last one. Some people get shut out and can't get tix, but then we have people trying to decide which shows are better? 'Ungrateful' comes to mind. Be honored if you even get to see them.
I shit and I stink. I'm real, join the club.

A friend, he called, I didn't mention a thing. The last thing he said was, "Be sound". Sound. I contemplated an awful thing, I hate to admit. I just thought those would be such appropriate last words. But I'm still here.
