2nd night always been better for me if we're dealing just with pj but the setlist has is perhaps more predictable.

Never bothered both nights with other bands.

Just from my experience. First night is hits, second is more rare stuff.

I didn't want to take any chances with MSG so going to both shows!

Ed solo in Vancouver was my first time doing both nights...i guess Night 1 was super special cause it was all so new, but i would say that Ed was probably better during Night 2.

Detroit - 2nd night was much better
MSG - night one was better
Toronto - night 1 was better - Bono ruined the second night.

If you can only go to one....always go to night two.

If you choose night one you will be begging, stealing and/or scalping for a ticket the next night. :D

That's my rule of thumb. Hence why I always go to as many as possible. :)

shit - you're right. see what happens when you get a little spoiled. Now, I can't remember which Toronto show was better - I still think night 1
Now, I really remember the Toronto 2005 show - we got all the hits - that show was a disappointment.

Night 2 was better IMO. The crowd wasn't into it on the first night. Eddie even remarked about how much better the crowd was. We also got about 5 more songs then on night 1

I was at the Night 1 show and i have to say it was a little dissapointing after the fantastic 05 shows. I remember seeing the setlist for Night 2 and regretting that i didn't go for both nights.

  • I thought overall Boston 1 was better than Boston 2 in 06.... but Leash probably trumped any overall comparison I could make.

Only been to 2 shows and they were back to back Camden in 06. First night had a bit better setlist but I had a much better time the 2nd night. Not really sure if that was due to the band or not.

    It was the band.

I think some of it has to do with not having to travel before the 2nd night. They are relaxed, had a great time the night before and want to top it.

I do think MSG 1 is slightly better than 2 though.

I've yet to see anyone even attempt to make an argument that night 1 was better.

There's no question night 2 was better.

I agree. I kept getting the bono show and night one confused. Is anybody else getting tired of them opening with Release in Toronto?

Night 2 is usually better, but I think even the band has said before, the 2nd to last show on the tour is usually the best.

Gorge I much better than Gorge II. May have been due to many of the bands family and freinds attending night I....heck even deciding on the set.
