    He should be able to do it. The next three batters are hitting 150, 205, and 177 on the season.

    Make that 2 career no hitters...congratulations Justin Verlander...by far the best Tiger pitcher since Jack Morris.

    No Bautista, Hill on the DL, Snider sent down, and Lind left with back tightness after two ab's. They were pretty much fielding a AAA team against one of the leagues best pitchers.

    I haven't heard yet...but the tiger announcers were checking to see if a no hitter has been thrown while facing the minimum batters...good job Justin.

    Justin is a stud. If he pitches like this all of the time it will pay huge dividends.

    Usually he trys blowing everyone away which elevates his pitch count. Pitching to contact with his stuff and mixing in the occassional strikeout will make him consistently dominant, if not the best pitcher in the game.
