Yeah I agree about Return of the Jedi. To go from how dark TESB was, which was borderline rated R - to Ewoks beating up Storm Troopers - embarrassing. Would've been easier to accept if they had been Wookies, but just barely.
These movies need to be remade. Not to make them "perfect," just better.

I doubt it will ever happen. At least not for a long time. We have 3 more episodes plus the anthology that's starting in 2016. Then we'll probably get a wookie movie and probably some movies that take the viewpoint of the Empire.
