Maybe they have learned for good this time.

I wish they were playing Jones Beach again!

Dont forget, this is not a huge tour, no album, and almost ZERO media about this.

As the concert dates draw nearer, the tix will go.

If htis was a huge tour with an album to support, tix sales would go faster.

    I thought Cleveland sold out?

Not to mention, there were plenty of shows near those cities that people could have gone too. Cincy, Detroit, Philly, etc. all probably took away from those cities. DMB played in Hershey the night of Pittsburgh 06, too.

Do you have your tickets yet?!! Quit complaining, I suggest more people travel. It's not about the north, south, east or west. Pearl Jam is way past it's heyday of trying to sell out every venue....they don't need to prove anything to anyone and should have a nice retirement by now. This is the 3rd time they've ever played in SC. I think they're finally due to have a good show to stop in town. They don't need "support". They know what to expect in each city, they've got people being paid who determine that. If they wanted to sell out then they would have picked a more intimate venue. I'm grateful they're touring. Forget G-R-E-E-D! Maybe some of the MSG complainers should pick up some close seats in SC.

if the seats that are left are in the 200s, then it's not really worth it to get those for the price they are trying to sell them at....they are pretty crappy seats, even for basketball so I bet for concerts it's even worse....

I feel that you are only joking - and NOT "slamming" the South - as a lot of people like to do as a "favorite past-time" on this board. I am going to think you are above comments like that - and - try to locate something positive(?) about your comment(s). I know you're a good person. PJ fans living in the South are also really good people (like you...) PJ loves ALL of their fans. I am very sure of this.

Rrrrrrose...it's a message board, don't take things so personal, some people likes to joke abit and some like to be wise guys. Though I love your rants, i get scared sometimes reading them. ;):p

Anyways, if they're any international fans out there that are considering fly over, might want to try the south shows.

    have fun everyone!

I'm on the fence with this show...I'll be down at roo until monday morning...it would be a six hour drive south to get to the show and then another twelve back home...it will probably be a last minute decision to go or not
    looking for 2 to Columbia...

heh...I'll be back on the road on the 19th...no worried there my friend :D

bonnaroo is just a very draining weekend all around, plus I'm bringing my younger sister for the trip and am not sure if she can stay the extra day...not that I was planning on telling her anyway...it will be a surprise if it all works out as planned...and I seriously doubt she would notice that we would be driving southeast to the show anyhow, just show up at the venue and hand her the tickets...I've actually done that before!

Nah... I really believe they should forget the South and play the beach...

I dont think that makes me a bad person, and I'm not even slamming the south, hell... I love Florida... but Jones beach would be nice.

I thought this was pretty poor planning. I was one of the ones bitching and moaning about PJ not coming near me for a long time... When the announcement came out about the Columbia show, I started making plans for it right away... until I realized that, wait, June 16th sounds familiar...

oh yeah, the Cure is playing in Charlotte that night. I'd swap the Cure for PJ, but I have 3rd row Cure tix, I've never seen them before, and they're playing within walking distance of my house. Sorry, Pearl Jam... it's killing me, but I can't do Columbia. There aren't THAT many great shows that come to the South East at all. It sucks that two I really want to go to are coming on the exact same night.

    Wow what a disappointment.

Maybe they can give the tickets to illegal aliens or something. Ya know...put the tickets to good use.

Why is everyone bagging on SC? I can go to Ticketmaster right now and pull tickets for every show on this tour besides MSG.

Sorry, I just don't understand why PJ fans have to pick on each other so much. The north/south thing is getting ridiculous.
