I was one of the winners of an event Pearl Jam held in 2008 to organize and host a screening of the "Vote For Change?" concert footage DVD on the eve of election night. The DVD also came with a poster which I will be donating to The Wishlist Foundation to raffle off at a fundraising event before the Detroit show. If anyone is interested in purchasing the original DVD let me know and I will donate half the proceeds to The Wishlist Foundation as well. The other half I hope will cover the cost of my Eddie ticket and some rounds for my friends. The disc and the case are both hand painted and I believe there are only about 60 in existence.

Here is what it looks like but does not come with the Seattle 08' DVD but does include the hand painted case.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Thank you and keep on rocking in the free world!

  • I've also considered keeping the poster and DVD together instead of breaking up the collection and just donating the proceeds to Wishlist instead of raffling off the poster. I just think the poster would be a fun thing to include in the raffle and would help sell more tickets. Thoughts?

Wasn't that all on an honor system of not profiting from it? If so, then donate the set and you'll feel good that more people will have bought tickets to try to win it!

I was waiting for the "profiting" guilt trip response and to my knowledge there was no "honor system" other than hosting a free screening of the video which I fullfilled. As explained in my original post, half the proceeds are going to charity and any profits will go towards Eddie Vedder and the generous establishment hosting The Wishlist Foundation fund raising event. I could have just as easily put both items together on ebay and made a lot more money but would rather it go to a PJ fan and try to raise some money for a good cause.
