Can't believe it is almost 10 years, wow where have these years gone?
Those are my thoughts, too. This feels vaguely like the climax of the past ten years, and of that terrible day.

heard the news at the Mets-Phils game. one of the many in the crowd chanting USA USA. Great night to be an American. as for those making comments about killing him we would have taken him without killing had he not resisted, including at least one coward shielding himself with a woman. Amazing job by our special forces. We feel good again, at least for a short time, as Americans.

Pearl Harbor was one of the worst days in our Nation's history! I'm glad they brought this guy to justice!

Now, we locate and kill Katrina.
I knew it all along, see?

We (Americans) support the death penalty because if monsters like this don't die then eventually some judge (say, a British judge) will release them to go home to a fucking victory parade, because he was "sick."

That said, it sounds like he was killed because he wouldn't be taken alive.

In a mansion. So much for the cave. FUCK HIM, and I'm glad he's FUCKING DEAD. :D

Had to be a cool place to be.

The mission was to kill. I dunno how that works but I would think they'd just shoot if they got a chance, the way it's being reported. I would think they'd wanna keep him alive for at least a bit, anyway.

Also, does anybody else think Obama seemed kinda creepy during his speech?

The conspiracy nuts are gonna go crazy over this one......already had a sea burial before the results of a dna test? was it the Seals or the CIA?

heard it reported that we agreed to treat his body under Islam law and Islam law states burial within 24 hours.

For all those celebrating: Celebrating death is exactly what OBL would do. Respect human life. Even his. Otherwise, we become what we hate.

Celebrating the death of evil is the right thing to do. We waited 10 years for this. Even the biggest hippies should realize it is okay to celebrate this. Bin Laden celebrated the deaths of innocent civilians. He was not innocent.

Well I consider myself a peaceful person and wish that we were not at war against terrorism. But we are.

That being said, I said a prayer and then I bought donuts for the office.

I am not a hippie...although I am a Canadian and some people consider us socialists  I am by nature a pacifist who recognizes that sometimes war is necessary, even if I don't like it. He wasn't innocent. Am I glad he he can no longer attack innocent people? Absolutely. Do I think killing him ends terrorism? Sadly...no. I am sorry for all innocent lives lost in this battle.
