just finished looking at the winners - great shots - i love ... well i love all of them - but lauriehester's brought a pretty big smile to my face - had a 10 yr old next to me falling asleep in sydney 06 by the very last wave and song
Are you one of the fans who put their names on a paper mailing list at a show? I can't even imagine being that early. If you're one of the a few people who were at their early shows, the band would probably know you by name
LOL....I had a Photo pass, so I was infront of crowd with a couple other people taking photo's. Here are some of the other's I took.

I was so upset when I didn't see my name on the winners list, but then I looked at the winners and now I am so inspired! What incredible photos, I am blown away!

I LOVED the shot of the Yield record! I actually just bought that camera maybe a week before they announced the contest. Can you believe Im close to 30 and have never owned my own camera? Except for those silly disposable cameras this was my first so my winning truely is Beginers Luck! Im really excited and so inspired to learn the camera and capture memories.

I am just thrilled to have won one of Lance's prints; he's great, and his pics inspire me. When I first started bringing my Sony camera (used to have a Nikon SLR, but of course they aren't allowed) to shows, I went for the nice, pretty pics... but on the last tour, I tried to experiment a bit. The one i used was a total fluke that ended up being one of the coolest pictures ive ever taken. Sometimes shitty cameras DO get great shots

Just what is it about Lance Mercer and blurred photography? Sorry but I just dont get it. Time and time again I've refused to pay for tour programs, books etc because they've been full of these blurred photos - hate em!!!!

You didn't like the shot of the Yield record?
I thought that one besides Chad's picture of course was the best, maybe I'm just biased because Yield is my favorite record of all time?
