    Walk and white limo immediately hit the best with me. arlandria, miss the misery and bridge burning have come on strong. Rope I had already heard a lot...love it. Dear Rosemary...all of it's bad ass.

    I'll probably get flack for picking the first single but "Bridge Burning" is just flat out bad ass. That intro when Grohl lets loose on "These are my famous last WORDS!!!!!!" is great. "Arlandria" is a very close second.

    And on a side note, The Ramones had similar chord progressions/bass lines in a lot of songs too so I guess they are "just noise" and not any good either. Anyone want to get a "Favorite Song off of Dream Theater's Black Clouds & Silver Linings" thread started? ;)

    Why does anyone think they're "not cool" or "gonna get flack" for picking a certain song? It's your favorite - who is anyone else to say anything about it?

    Also, why does anyone bother to come into a thread of a band they don't like. You don't see me in the Sublime thread... :roll: So you don't like the Foos. BFD - now go the fuck away.

    Couldn't agree with you more!! Those two songs are a great one-two punch. The entire album is fantastic. It's gonna be a tough one to beat for album of the year. My Morning Jacket and EV might be able to do it tho.

    No way you should get any flack for that.....that shit punches you in the mouf right off the bat and let's you know you are in for a hell of a ride....maybe I like that one better than White Limo after all upon further reflection 8-)
