finally listened. is that mike playing the main its OK riff?? cause I hear stone continuing with the daughter/jam riffs, and when they played it live, he switched guitars to a les paul. so maybe this was an early version where they were trying things out?? its cool stuff though. thanks much

Meh.. Completely lacked energy.. Any live version would put that version to shame. Ed sounded sedated.

I agree, I mean thanks to gndcd402 for sharing this, and it is interesting because it is rare and all of that, but I would rather listen to the Jones Beach '00 myself.

    Or Gorge '06 :D

By the way Eddie's vocals sound, it definitely sounds like something from 1998-2000. I am bummed that it only starts at the end of Daughter though.

Just like Winamp (http://www.winamp.com/), so what's the point of converting it?

thank you for the "gift", gndcd402.

flac is better for archiving and being able to compress the wav without losing any audio data. sure, converting flac to mp3 for your own personal use is fine, but if that mp3 was taken and copied to cd-r and re-ripped again to mp3, the audio quality would diminish quickly if the same task was repeated over and over with said mp3 taken from the cd-r.

i know a lot of people do not like flac--maybe some people want an "easier" file to handle, or just do not have the space; which i cannot understand these days, because hard drive data is super cheap--but at least respect the wishes of the person who uploaded this, and the person who gave it to him, so fans get to experience more rarities possibly down the line.

i know talking about flac vs. mp3 is beating the dead horse, but the more people that decide they can hear and understand the benefit of flac may give them an alternate archiving method and/or listening experience.

i am still somebody who would like to see the pearl jam 2005 live downloads be released in flac some time in the future. i would gladly pay a few bucks more for them. :)
i have witnessed some performances. i have soaked up a lot of memories.

I've never understood the FLAC snobbery
Why should FLAC people decide how I listen to my music?
