to be honest, it really dosn't make literal sense. it was a sarcastic comment Ed made towards the audiance members who were throwing shoes at them. he said he was going to save the shoes and donate them to charity, he was going to "shoe the shoeless". As in give the shoeless people shoes.

How does that not make literal sense?
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do

His sentence is for 8 days, so I doubt it affects the tour.
crazy some of the shit pj gets conversed into on here.

subbing for stp, like its an automatic their fans would be okay with it.
I think the money would be a book of 100 craziest threads in here where people are serious, they do it with sports all the time.
Just like the tool thread about maynard not being as loyal as Ed.
Some people have religion I have Pearl Jam.

    Just like this.

Why does everything on a measage board have to be so literal.

Shoe people without shoes, if its not the kind of grammar an Oxford English major would use we apologize, so why would someone with such an enormous literal background come to a grunge bands measage board, I am sure bach and betoven have blogs you can go literize at.

I agree completely- and this is coming from a one time die hard STP/Weiland fan. I used to argue with people that STP was better than PJ... what a fool I was.

(at least I was 14 and learned what great, not good, music is.)

Don't get me wrong, I love STP and got the the Velvet Revolver album as soon as it came out. I think Weiland has a ton of talent, he's made some great songs, but he ruins it for himself. And everyone just keeps on giving him chance after chance. Look for him on the next season of VH-1 Celebrity Rehab!

I love STP's older stuff but refuse to support a band whose lead singer is an asshole and one that hasnt released a good cd in 10 years. sure they broke up for a couple but he was a jerk then too.

and i have VRs two albums- one i paid for but the second one i just DL'ed. I knew they wouldnt last.
