Well, probably nothing regarding PJ. I wonder if PJ can substitute for any STP shows?

His sentence is for 8 days, so I doubt it affects the tour.

only 8 days? I thought it was more. Was it for the OUI charge?
  • 192 hours in a county jail. Sounds like a country song in the making.

Scott Weiland Is Going to Jail

Posted Apr 28th 2008 4:58PM by TMZ Staff

Scott Weiland is Going to JailRock star Scott Weiland has just been sentenced to 192 hours in county jail for his November DUI arrest. This is Weiland's second DUI offense. He has until May 28 to serve the sentence.

Scott, who was not present in court today, entered a no contest plea through his attorney, Anthony Brooklier. The former Velvet Revolver singer was also ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol program and pay almost $2,000 in fines. He will be put on a four-year summary probation.

Weiland was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of alcohol with a prior conviction, and with an allegation that he refused a chemical test as required by law. We are told he was over the legal limit of .08%, but not by much.

According to the police report, he failed the field sobriety tests and refused to take a blood or urine test. He was booked for DUI and released on $40,000 bail.

How many more fuckups is this guy allowed? Why do we even care about him anymore. STP is no more. Velvet Revolver is no more. Why can't we realize Scott Weiland is no more.

Um, STP is playing 65 dates this summer and have announced they will record an album afterwards. How is that no more?

What, this is the comeback tour of the year? Those 65 dates will be reduced to 13. Weiland will wind up in jail again.

I doubt it. I think they make it through the tour.

They're still around, sans Weiland, and looking for his replacement.

to be honest, it really dosn't make literal sense. it was a sarcastic comment Ed made towards the audiance members who were throwing shoes at them. he said he was going to save the shoes and donate them to charity, he was going to "shoe the shoeless". As in give the shoeless people shoes.

before he said this, he told the crowd that he was going to turn in everything to charity .. homeless, poor, etc...

in this case "shoe" is used as a verb. it's basically a pretty funny way of saying "give shoes to the people without them" .. "shoe the shoeless"

I agree completely- and this is coming from a one time die hard STP/Weiland fan. I used to argue with people that STP was better than PJ... what a fool I was.

Shoe the shoeless, sort of like House the homeless, feed the children, whatever... give shoes from those bastards in the audience who obviously have an abundance of shoes to people who are less fortunate and have no shoes.. In other words, they weren't gonna get their fucking shoes back, and in an ideal world, someone who would appreciate the shoes would get them! And as they found the bare foot suckers leaving, they were gonna give 'em a beating to boot! (pardon the pun) LOL
