When I was just a wee little Heisenberg, we had this year long competition where every kid in school got points for every book he/she read, based on it's length and reading level. At the end of the year we would have an auction where kids could use points to purchase items. Over the course of the year we were all asked to write letters to "someone famous" asking them to donate an item to our "auction". There was a kid in my middle school who LOOOOOOVVVVVED Stryper so he wrote to them. They actually sent 1 (maybe even 2, I don't remember) autographed Stryper bibles.
I shit you not, they actually had paperback bibles with the Stryper logo on the front.0 -

I shit you not, they actually had paperback bibles with the Stryper logo on the front.I have no issues with any particular text/theology, but it seems to me one needs a mighty big head to put their logo on the front of a bible. They could have at least followed Gideons' lead
I'm sorry, I can't can't imagine walking up to a merch booth at a show and asking for a bible
Suppose that's my issue

I'm with Mookie! C'mon people we need more money for the CCFA and time is running out. We are only about 8 t-shirt sales short of raising $500 against Crohn's and Colitis. Let's do this!!!
Also, don't know if I should be spouting this off on the message board yet, but we are trying a couple of long shot ideas. We are going to try and reach out to the American Mustache Institute as well as Heineken (since they have deep pockets and are currently running the handlebar mustache ad) in hopes that they might consider making a donation. Keep your fingers crossed that we get lucky.0
