Seriously my gf can't wait till pj20. Cause then I'm shaving my face. And she is going to cringe when I shave my handlebars in at the super 8 on Friday.

I think we need video documentation of this. I personally think the cringing will quickly turn to cooing when she realizes how magnificently macho a handlebar mustache is.

Good idea! My wife does not like the idea of me shaving the beard off completely and leaving the mustache, and has been giving me crap everyday about how it's getting too long. She too will be changing her tune ;)

Sorry if I missed this in the 85 page trail (Impressive by the way). Is there an official mustache tailgate spot or meetup? My entire crew of 10 will have mustaches and we are planning on grilling out and drinking early both days but I didn't know if there was an official "mustache only" tailgate that was being planned.

Nothing has been planned yet, but at some point...we all need to get together. Some but not all of us will be at the Friday night pre-party but nothing has been discussed in terms of tailgating yet. There has been discussion of a "stache mob" during one of the side stage acts during the day. I personally am voting to Stache Mob The Young Evils. :D

I'm all in for a Stache Mob! Maybe we could get some support from one of the side acts? I'll also be at the pre-party.

That's what I was thinking because we should all be able as a group to get much closer to a side stage than the main stage. I had posted this before but this is why I nominated The Young Evils (not to mention their album is really good)...

Excellent! Wonder if we could all wear top hats? :D I want to say I've even seen paper ones at party stores before.

OK guys...here is another way to contribute to the CCFA through the PJ20 "Don't Gimmie No Lip" Mustache Movement.

As previously posted, usamamasan1 has been generous enough to donate an autographed baseball from the Angels/M's game a while back that is signed by none other than Mr. Mike McCready.

The ball is in this grouping (the other three have a home) but he is donating his.
balls.jpg

There were only 150 of these balls signed and the winner will receive this display case as well.

http://www.sfdisplay.com/1baseballhomeplateshapeddisplaycasecabinetlockable.aspx

Here are the stipulations to enter:

1. Entry Fee for the contest is a $40 donation to the CCFA (DO NOT MAKE DONATION FIRST)
2. The contest will be limited to 10 entries so each participant will have a 10% chance of winning the ball
3. Any interested party should email their contact info and 10C Username to mfc.heisenberg@yahoo.com
4. Once we receive 10 entrants, the raffle will be closed.
5. Once the raffle is closed, I will contact each entrant with instructions on how to make the donation directly to the CCFA.
6. When donations are made and confirmed, the Wisconsin Chapter of the CCFA will conduct the raffle, draw the winner and make the announcement.
7. usamamasan1 has then agreed to ship the ball and case on his own dime to the winner.

This is a great opportunity to snag a kick ass item and contribute to the CCFA. However, we need 10 entrants for the raffle to happen. If we do not receive 10 entrants, then the raffle is off (this is why we are asking that you email before you make any direct donation). Thanks to usamamasan1 for making this generous offer. We await your emails!

You know I'm down for a Stache Mob! :D I think we should make a stop by Star Anna & the Laughing Dogs too. I posted on Star Anna's fb page yesterday that a group of mustached men & women may come to see her set and not too worry, it's just the PJ20 Mustache Movement :) Her guitarist Justin commented about how much Star loves staches so I told him that I would be sure to throw one of my fake staches up on stage for her. He said that if we did it early enough she may wear it for the set...how great would that be if we could get her to wear a fake stache? :D;)
Show #13 was a lucky one for me....
