With that said, Lost Dogs is awesome on Vinyl. I finally just purchased a good turntable a couple months back and finally got the chance to open up all my PJ vinyl and spin it!0 -
It's all in the mastering, folks. Vinyl doesn't automatically mean better sound. Pearl Jam vinyl is very similar to the CD's. Avocado on vinyl is just as compressed, harsh, and loud as the CD version. They could have done a much better job. If Pearl Jam vinyl was audiophile quality, it would be a totally different story. (See the vinyl of "Stadium Arcadium", for example. It was deliberately mastered "old school" and it completely blows away the awful CD version.)0
