I wonder which Pacer team will show up tonight? I hope Larry Bird hired security to make sure the players stayed away from Atlanta strip clubs ...

Why exactly is Kerr a sought-after coach? It kind of supports my argument that NBA coaches are meaningless (save for a few: Popovich, etc). In a million years, could you ever imagine an NFL head coach with no coaching experience at all? When I saw Jason Kidd become the Nets' head coach, I thought "only in the NBA." The media is talking like the Knicks lost out so bad because Kerr didn't choose them. How on earth was Kerr in position to choose in the first place?

He was wanted so badly because he knows most all the owners, GM's and players from his time as a player, GM and announcer. He may end up being a bust and the Warriors may be set back years in their quest to be champs again. Kerr's strengths though seem to lead to what should be a good coach. People he has worked with at every level respect him and all talk about what a brilliant basketball mind he has. Plus if you were going to have anyone coach Curry and Thompson wouldn't you want the all time leader in 3 point percentage doing it?

how's that money grab working out for ya, Phil? both he and Dolan are getting what they deserve.

i would love to see phil actually step up and coach that team. he'd be exposed big time without having to rely on one of the greatest players to ever play the game...i don't think tex winter is coming out of retirement to help him either.

I agree. Only way Phil were to coach this team would be if he thought he could win it all with them. Sad because he is probably exactly what they need. They need someone to get every ounce of talent out of them which is what Phil could do. Plus Carmelo would probably stay if Phil was coaching. Since I can't see Phil coaching them I would say go over pay Mark Jackson to get him to go back on his new TV contract. Jackson may want a Western team though as his next coaching job to shove it up the Warriors asses for canning him.

The fact that Paul George was allowed to play after getting knocked out is a testiment that the NBA is close to matching soccer in flopping. Everyone just assumed he was being over-dramatic cause pro players have been over-acting injuries for years.

    RIDICULOUS is right.

    It's NOT a PLAY-OFF anymore. It really is a 2nd-season.

I wish they would do back to backs in the playoffs. Depth should matter.

Can we just start the finals now with the Heat and Spurs. This is taking too long when we all know how this is going to end up.

    Parker's health is key

I wouldn't be surprised if he was able go in last nights 2nd Half and Pop played a hunch, knowing Westbrook was just too big/athletic for him and told him to sit it out

Parker has a better matchup vs Miami

Spurs in 7.... I'm sure Miami wishes they still had Mike Miller, he stretched the floor and played well in last yrs finals

Thunder need a different coach and a few guys off the bench... Their bench got smoked

That's a real shame what happened to Lebron last night. A little dramatic getting carried off the court like that. Oh well...go spurs.

Spurs pulled off some NBA Jam "On Fire" shit with 8 minutes to go. If I'm the Spurs I'm making sure the A/C "mysteriously" goes out again in the next game. Heat (ironically) is Lebron's kryptonite.
