Epic game tonight by the Spurs who outlasted Houston 134-126 in overtime. Gary Neal with 29 points, Parker with his first career triple-double. Lin had 38 for the Rockets who were without Harden.

Also watched Detroit-Philadelphia tonight, a spectacular second half showing by Holiday and nice work by Thaddeus Young and Evan Turner, especially on the defensive end down the stretch.

based strictly on basketball ... i would rather have made an average nba salary and walked away with 7 rings than make a superstar salary and have 0 ...

That had to be a pretty short discussion. 7 rings is nice but 100% of people remember Charles Barkley as having a better career.

I feel that rings aren't the end-all-tell-all when judging a career. Barkley had a huge presence on the court when he played, and like Malone, didn't win a ring, but is easily one of the best in history.

Robert Horry as talented for sure, but he was a key piece to something that was already running well when he won his rings.

    The two rings with Houston
    The rings with the Lakers
    The rings with the Spurs

If we judge simply by the number of rings, then that means Andrew Bynum, Luke Walton, and Darko Milicic have already had better careers than the likes of Karl Malone, John Stockton, Reggie Miller, Steve Nash, Allen Iverson, and Charles Barkley... which is a fucking absurd statement.

i'm a socialist in every way! ...:lol: ... i believe in team success (especially in a team sport) more than individual success ... robert horry has made more than enough money for me ... i really don't care about the accolades myself ...

The Clippers are on a 14 game winning streak and could come to SLC on Friday with a 15 game streak.

Talk about a complete 180 from their known history.

Glad to see a new king in town over there in LA-LA land. Refreshing for the league if ya ask me.
