I don't know if Minnesota can keep this up with all these injuries but the Wolves are now 5-2 after grinding out an eight-point win at Dallas. This was a game they lost despite losing Nikola Pesovic, who looked good in the low-post and in the mid-range game as he shot 8-of-13.

ever since they came back against the nets from like a 20+ defecit - they've been playing great team ball ... adelman's doing a great job there ... with pek, roy, love and rubio all out - it is pretty amazing they've been winning ... kirilenko has been the key ... and this shved kid looks like a player ...

He hit a huge three with about four minutes to go when the lead was cut to nine.

I will be very happy if the Nets beat the Cavs tonight (as they should) and start the season 4-2. Still cant get over that T'Wolves collapse though (up by 22 in the third, ties with about 3 minutes left, lose by 11)

first time the spurs have squandered a 12 point 4th quarter lead since 2004.

    impressive.

Of course I'm a Jazz fan first and foremost, but I am not afraid to admit that I love the Spurs. Their style of basketball, while some find it boring, is to me a very enjoyable style to watch. Nearly all of the time they are on the court they are fundamental, disciplined, and cohesive.

Popovich is a great coach and his demeanor transfers to his team on the floor. I love the maturity and focus the Spurs always have, and the fact that they consistently remain an elite team without making a large showcase about it. They are skilled, smart and humble and are a very respectable basketball club.

Strangely enough, as a Jazz fan I was able to accept fairly easily getting our asses kicked by one of the best clubs in the NBA last year in the first round of the playoffs.

I still wish we would've seen a Heat/Spurs finals. Would've loved to had seen that. Maybe this year? :corn:

i think it has something to do with the spurs knocking out the pistons a few years back when the pistons were good.

    i could be wrong.
