Because he wants to play with the other asshole that thinks they should get paid to play in the Olympics.

I lost some respect when he said that. Now this. No longer my favorite player.

Didn't Wade say he's not playing in the Olympics?

Yeah Wade is out of the Olympics because of an injury supposedly.
I agree, I have lost all respect for Ray Ray now.

Sheeeet. It's a business. That team is going to be fun to watch. I know we as fans like loyalty and nostalgia, but it's business and he did what is best for him. He's going to have a lot of fun on that team with those motherfuckers driving and drawing double teams.

Even though he was on Boston, I have always like Ray Allen just because of He Got Game.

People are gonna have to accept the Heat sooner or later.

You think? People have been saying that since the Finals, and I won't disagree that they are primed to win more. But just look at the team they just beat. In a few years Durant will be the unquestionable best player in the league and Westbrook will have hopefully grown up. The east is starting to get pretty hairy looking and alot of teams are looking to the Big 3 blueprint as the recipe for success, so any team with money or good management could get good fast.

If this were about business, he would have stayed with Boston. They offered him double what the Heat will be paying him. He obviously thinks the Heat give him the best chance to win a title. And apparently he was bitter Boston tried to trade him this past season.

But fuck, the Heat are going to be tough next year. D-Rose out most of the year and I don't see anyone else in the East challenging them.

With the addition of Ray Allen aka Jesus Shuttleworth...The Heat Just got better. If they were hated before this pick up will probably bring out more haters. The City of Miami should start planning another parade for next June. Might as well plan a few. Lets Go Heat!

Good scenarios posed by the writer:

Jazz should definitely attempt to sign-and-trade CJ. Don't let him just walk away. he didn't do shit for the Jazz in the past two seasons, but he could help another team. I think the scenario of Jason Richardson is more promising though.

Whatever. Still love Nash, but I don't think I'll be bringing myself to cheer for the Lakers.

Ray to Miami. He left money on the table for a shot to win a Super Friends ring. Maybe bad blood in Boston? Who knows.

It's going to be an interesting season next year. I have a feeling that Jefferson is on the trade block here in Utah.

Okay, I'm going to regret saying this... but I might pull for the Lakers. Depending on the game, series, scenario, etc.

I've been a Nash supporter for way too long... but his career will be a success even if he doesn't get a title. Either way, they're going to be a fun team to watch.

Rob's gonna hate me for that one...

But hear me on this. If I even do pledge a fraction of my allegiance to the Lakers for one game (solely because of Nash), that allegiance will burn like a motherfucker once Nash is no longer in a Laker jersey.

There's my fraud move for the day.

I figured they wouldn't let him get away that easily.

It seems a little high, but that is what the market dictated and it's not like 7'-2" guys are all over the place. And compared to some of the insane contracts I've seen in the past, this looks like a fair deal. If he keeps improving each year like he has, it should look like a great deal in a year or two.
