    is that for one phone?

we are at like 168 for two phones (evo's) with insurance on sprint. take off the insurance, it would be 154. i'll be dumping insurance in june when i can get a standard upgrade.

i have a smartphone paid for my my work (an Samsung Epic, i think). I couldnt imagine how much it would actually cost me on a standard contract; unlimited minutes, text, internet, etc. Havent had a personal cell phone in years....one of the perks I guess.

depends on your needs and usage.

if you want to go cheap, get a magic jack and make all your calls from home, and than if you need cell get a prepaid (we had tmobile). my cell cost was less than a hundred bucks a year, but i didn't text and only really used it when i needed to call the woman when i was out and about.

    Yeah...thats insane for one phone

Unless you have some crazy plan with thousands of minutes

How many minutes do you use a month ?

I text like crazy and use the internet on it. And tons of minutes bc of work but i know there must be a cheaper way.

    sprint

in my research before buying, sprint was the cheapest. alot of cell companies also offer a discount off the list price if you work for certain companies or are a member of a credit union.

    that's pretty crappy of them.

minutes is what i would be worried (regardless of carriers) about assumign you have to call land lines during the day.

one phone with unlimited everything on sprint is 109 + tax

    $105-$108 AT&T Iphone 3GS...with 450 minutes(rollover) 1500 texts, unlimited data, 7pm nights

I was careful the 1st couple of months to build rollover...and I'm pretty sure there is no more unlimited data unless you are on your original contract with unlimited

check out the plans for each of the major carriers to see if there plan fits your needs....if you have a smaller local, check them out too.

sprint was best for us when we decided to go with a superphone

I have a T-Mobile one for about 70 a month. I didn't really want one, but the other one died on me after three years. It's a decent phone, only thing that sucks is you have to charge it every other day. Considering the few people that call me or let alone seem to know I exist, I'm not sure why I have it.
