    With so many picks out there (Pit/ EBay) how do you know if there the real deal. I thought about trying to acquire picks from each tour I've seen, but I have no idea what's real or not.

    i've said it a million x..just stay on the floor after the show and let it empty out ..you will find quite a few after every show

    people seemed to have got wise to this, there are hundreds doing this these days and hounding roadies etc

    last year in newark ..i cleaned up..everyone was gone the workers were taking the seats away

    found about 10 ..even the elusive EV

    And after EVERY show I go to, I hang around and scavenge the floors....
    I have picked up quite a few cool things, a highlight being a backstage pass for System of a Down, but I've also gotten quite a few complaints from friends for not being at the meeting point after the show :lol::lol::lol:

    Still upset to this day that I lost my Jeff and Eddie picks from the Showbox show in September 2004. I was lucky enough to get up against the barricade right in front of Jeff. Both picks I was able to grab as they were laying on the barricade ledge (at 2 different points during the concert). I put them in my pocket, not thinking I should have put them in a more secure location. This was the first time I had gotten a guitar pick at a show, let alone two. I have gotten a few picks from Flight to Mars shows. As soon as I get one, it goes in the credit card section of my wallet and then in my pocket.
    I am thinking back when I lost my guitar picks, reaching in and out of my pockets for various things, they must have slipped out. It has been almost 7 years and this still pisses me off.
    I tried replacing them by purchasing the two picks on ebay, but after holding the real ones, I know the ones I got on ebay are complete fakes. The Eddie pick was the black on that said "EV" on one side and "23" on the other. The Jeff pick was transparent yellow with a bass clef on one side and Jeff Ament written inside and cross, and "basso" below. If anyone has any of these and would like to sell, trade (I have a lot of posters), or give away, I would greatly appreciate it.

    im talking in general,not about Athens..after Athens i went to hotel,get my stuff and went to Airport,to get my flight to Rhodes.

    I wish they would sell some picks through 10C. I guess if they sold replicas then there would be people trying to sell the fakes on eBay or something. But some type of PJ pick would be cool. I've never seen any in the store, maybe I've missed them or something so correct me if I'm wrong. I see some out there on the net, but they're those picture picks that people charge too much for and the picture will probably come off after one song. I have Pearl Jam and Brad stickers all over my guitar, my strap is covered with Pearl Jam badge sets (I need to get the PJ20 badge/stickers) I just need some Pearl Jam picks.
