Yes me too. The Ohio single.

I'm looking forward to the Wild Flag release.
What do you mean "the Ohio single"??

And is anyone from Columbus going to Magnolia Thunderpussy on Sat? I am and have never been on RSD anyone know what to expect?
The Black Keys and Devo RSD releases from last year both had an email address on them(on the part with no grooves) It you emailed that address in time you got one back saying that you won this... http://www.flickr.com/photos/58415520@N ... /lightbox/

Maybe it's the split Akron.

The Black Keys side was their song "Ohio". Forget what Devo was.

Always thought a cool split 45 is of bands covering each other. I'd like to see Pearl Jam covering "I only play for money" with the Frogs "Rearviewmirror" bside.

the shop by me ordered EVERYTHING ... last year they got three of those red Smashing pumpkin 45's

I'm calling BS on this. FACT: There is absolutely NO way that your store got 3 of these. Unless your store is either Vintage Vinyl in Chicago or Amoeba in LA, then you didn't get a single one. If one of these is your store, then they received 250 of them. This was a band promo between the band and those two shops. RSD technically didn't have anything to do with those releases.

I called a small record store by me yesterday to see if they'd have the Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, and Nirvana RSD releases Saturday and the guy told me "we can't really tell you because we won't know 'til Saturday morning so it's fair for everyone".....

I want fair for me!!! :x lol

What's the name of everyone's record store of choice for RSD? I'll be at Repo Records on South Street in Philly to start the day then I'll probably check put AKA in old city later in the day, hoping for some giveaways (although being able to get the records I want from the list is good enough)

My local record store (Record Exchange in Boise, ID)'s owner, Mike Bunnell was one of the people who started RSD (you won't find his name on the wiki, but he is the director of the Coalition of Independent Music Stores), so I'm sure we'll get most, if not all of what's on the list. We usually do :)

I posted this in the other forum but anyway I know this kind of goes against everything RSD stands for but....where I live we only have 2 stores and neither have said that they are getting any of the special releases in... if any kind soul would be willing to pick up these for me

Fistful Of Mercy
Pale Blue Eyes / Things Go Round (live) 7

Nirvana
Hormoaning

R.E.M.
R.E.M. THREE: First Three Singles from Collapse Into Now

Karen Elson
Vicious / In Trouble With The Lord

Thats if they arent already on your list... I'll cover postage to Australia as well I just don't feel like paying 60 bucks on ebay for some of these releases. I realise that the nirvana one is probably on a lot of people's lists but its not really essential... I'm really after the Karen Elson and Fistful of Mercy ones...

Was just thinking that it would be awesome if we got a special, new (non-reissue) release for record store day this year. A complete Easy Street vinyl that they kind of danced around on the sirius show a while back would be nice. Since Alpine will hopefully come out anyway, Im still holding out hope for an official Vic release at some point. Or play a new fan club show and release that...
