I'm super excited, plus nervous about the party. It's always scary to try to organize one. Will we have enough donations? Will everyone have fun, and buy lots of raffle tickets? :?

You're awesome, never fret! and YES! YES! YES!

I googled your local Petsmart for the pet supplies for our furry four legged friends 8-)
just a few miles from the hotel.

JB finished the magnet bundles and we will be getting a couple gift cards to raffle
and one for our Joplin friend too.

Thank you so much for doing this mindi, it is always such fun and helps those in need

you are a great lady ... bless your heart

You have been the how to the many PJ friends we have met, that is precious to us! :D

    Thanks Pandora!!!
We are running behind on pet donations, a few pet food companies had to back out due to budget cuts :(

My Jane wants to be in charge of collecting them, she's 7. When I first told her we were collecting items for a no kill shelter she was so excited she went and bagged up all of our dogs food and treats  My poor dog just sat and watched.

AND THANKS to everyone for all the donations! WE couldn't do it without all of you!

 sweet and what a good thing you are teaching your little one.

It is sad when times get tough the donations fall back.
I'll get some food then too cause I thought that might be covered.

    So excited! 59.gif

  • Mindi, I love surprises! :D

We are bringing a Kansas City BBQ basket, with three different BBQ sauces, some dry rub and Boulevard Beer mustard! Good stuff.

Also, is there anything specific that would be the best for our Joplin fan? Cash? Gift cards (where? Target? Wal Mart?)? Anything else?

I've got my cat food ready to bring too!

    See you soon!

I can't believe I've made it in one piece. 2 days to go and I can't wait. I don't know about hell, but high water isn't keeping us from coming! We may be flooded but we're still coming, damn it!

This may seem like a silly question, but will there be taxis around after the show? I'm unfamiliar with the area around the theater. We're staying downtown and would probably like to not have to drive after the show. ;)

there should be no problem getting a cab. it is right off of st, louis university's campus so there should be plenty.

also for the pre-party, the guy i am going to the show with has to work late so he can't make the pre-party. i am still planning on attending.

It's just not going to work out for me, sadly. I would love to be there, but this has been a hellacious week. Just trying to get half way organized now at the office. See you tomorrow.

    Have fun tonight!

    Hey all !

I'd like to stop by. Not completely sure yet, but a strong maybe. Still have to figure out what my two friends that I am going with want to do. Got a call from one of them today saying they may have to back out, so If that's the case I may have a extra ticket or two also if anyone needs one(non 10c). Will have donation of some sort in hand also.

I took an extended holiday weekend so I will be off work tomorrow. I might just have to take a drive around town and see if I can spot any sight seeing out of town fans...We need some kind of sign or maybe a cool hand signal or something !

Like hey!!! He's one of us!! :D

    Just kidding...kinda :)

I usually wear a PJ shirt when I'm in town for a concert, so other Jammers know.

I will likely be taking a taxi to and from the venue as well.
