    If you like the beard then let it be, just keep it clean bro, otherwise why should it matter? Don't sell yourself out. You like it, keep it, if someone else will not give you a job because you have hair on your face, why would you want to work for a person like that?

    I hate having to shave or change my appearence for jobs. My new job requires me to shave right before every work day.

    I like having my beard! :(

    sidburns rule as long as they are just straight and don't look like you have an L on both sides of your face lol. i've had my sideburns since i was 14. they've become a part of me :oops: .

    Can you do a recon mission in advance of the interview and see if other employees at the office have beards?

    It sucks to conform, but if it gets you in the door, you can always grow the beard back.

    I'd like to think mine is not patchy lol.

    Do you have trouble growing a beard? If not, you really may want to consider shaving yours off before an interview. Any advantage in this job market is a plus. Good luck :D
