I wouldn't sweat it. I think the days of 75 date world tours are done, but I'd bet this sorta touring schedule would only extend the bands longevity. They're only in their 40s and still have the fire; there's plenty ahead.

Yes, Matt. Agreed. I'm glad the 10C is here and I will love this band for so many reasons until the day I die I'm sure. I'm grateful for every single time I've seen them live, and I hope against hope that I will be there for PJ20 because I have to be. I understand the underlying feeling that was spoken about earlier--even though they might be around forever, the days of touring won't last forever, and they're not the only ones getting older. Many of the best experiences of my life have been due to the music and presence and live experiences with Pearl Jam.

I saw the post heading and thought "Oh, no....here we go again." You're spot on, my friend. The good outweighs the bad tenfold. These are exciting times for us PJ crazies. I'm thankful at the moment that we get re-issues of classic albums (two albums in one release...woot!) in an era where the band we support is not only still relevant but still playing and making records. 10C for a small operation does a fine job of delivering the goods to the masses. They're not perfect, but as Matt pointed out neither are we. Cheers 10C for succeeding in the impossible job of trying to make us happy, and cheers Matt for all that you bring to this community.

thanks for the perspective. 10C does a great job. I believe Most of the issues with ticketing comes down to simple supply vs. demand.

they've always been polite to me and i can truly say that i think they're always trying to do their best. what more can we ask for??

i can list example after example, but i truly don't think that's needed. i understand that some of you are angry or frustrated.....but there are FAR more important things in this world.

this isn't a lie....i'm not trying to earn a fucking merit badge here, folks. just being honest. this community is an awesome group of people. this community also includes all of the folks that work at the 10C.

I can certainly understand being frustrated with not getting tickets or shows to your area (next to the South, the upper Midwest hasn't had much either); if you pay for a membership, it'd be nice to make use of the primary benefit of said membership (i.e. access to tickets).

BUT...its just a fan club. Its for fun. Its to meet up with other like-minded fans. To talk about a band you like. To take your mind of the work that I'm not currently doing . I'm sure I'll get skewered for this, but in essence, its just not that big of a deal. People get pissy when you point out that there are other important things in the world, but shit, there are. If anything, the frustration of not getting tickets or not having information about a tour or not getting your limited edition vinyl remastered repressing of whatever vinyl on time -- if anything, all those frustrations should be at the very least a reminder of how absolutely blessed you are. If that's the worst thing you've got going on in your life (and if you're taking time to bitch on a messageboard about it, it probably is the worst thing in your life), as frustrating or annoying as life can be, take a breath and smile my friend, you're one of the lucky ones.

PS - have you located a "Binaural" vinyl yet? Its a ghost-town for PJ vinyl in the Twin Cities...

Well said. I'm with you Matt. I'm here because I like the music. I order the CD's from the ten club because of the nicer package not because I can maybe listen to the music two days before the rest of the world. I will hear the music when I hear it. It is not to say the anticipation doesn't sometimes get the best of me. We all have things we look forward to. I know 10C does the best they can and I appreciate everything they do for us. Occasionally I need to get handicap seating if I take a friend of mine to a show and they have always been great to deal with.
