    This is going to be my first visit to Hartford...is downtown kind of sketchy??

    Not sure where i'm staying yet, i'll probably go priceline on a 3/3.5 in the downtown area...figure i can get that for under $60 a night.

    I assume you'll be at the preparty? We will have to be sure to say hello _ nothing like getting to know folks at a preparty!

    Flying in from Buffalo a few hours before the show, and in time for a preparty! Will look to meet you there!

    I'm still reeling with shock, as I can't believe this happened.

    I teamed up with my coworker, as if I got tickets he was going, and if he got tickets I was going, and somehow we scored a pair to the Hartford show, row BB (2nd row), center, Orchestra Pit. We're right there, up front. Just us, and Mr. Vedder. (@#%*)@#%!!!!!!

    Never gotten tickets this good before, ever. Ever!!!

    my wife (to be) and I will be there - managed to score some tix during the 'second round' offering (as a secret wedding present, so keep it quiet)....feel bad for the guys/gals who weren't able to do the same....hang in there, folks...things will work out.

    first show was Augusta, Maine (96), best show was Halifax (05)....just glad to be along for the ride...

    Absolutely you should be able to... Did 06, 08, and 2010 PJ shows... between $40-60 and always scored hilton or Crown Plaza... priceline name your own... that's the route i'll be going!!

    I went thru priceline on the weekend.

    Was initially trying for 3.5 star (Marriott i believe)...anway bid as high as $110 a night with no luck.

    Dropped it down to 3 stars, bid $55 and it was immediately accepted (Crowne Plaza).

    For anyone planning on going priceline (3 stars, downtown), i'd suggest starting around $45...i'm sure you will be able to score it for less than my $55.
