It sucks seeing everyone's frustration. I feel like I was one of the only people who didn't have any problems. Seattle tix appeared at 2:03 and after a few refreshes ("Temporarily out of stock," just like everyone else got) I was checked out and had a confirmation e-mail at 2:06. I know 10C seats for this tour aren't based on seniority, but I'm hoping another miracle will occur and I can land another spot in the front row, a la Seattle 9/22/09.

    See you all there!

I had the same problems, twice having the cart expire, finally getting the tickets after an hour and 20 minutes. I guess when you have 10,000 (or more) fans trying to get 1,000 tickets, things aren't going to be easy. It's a little different with a few thousand seat venue compared to a 30,000 seat venue.
  • Thought I would share my experience as well.....

I am in Chicago and was of course looking to buy Tix for the Chicago show. I was logged in a ready five minutes early. When 10 o'clock Chicago time rolled around I refreshed to discover that only the first two shows of the tour where available for purchase at 10. After refreshing for about 45 minutes to an hour the next two showed up. I also received the same errors and temporarily out of stock screens many times throughout my ordeal. I even seen some of the shows show up as sold out one minute and not sold out the next. Anyway, the Chicago show did not show up for sale until after 2pm Chicago time. (Yes folks, 4 hours of refresh just to be able to click on the buy button.) Since I had to be at work at 2:30 I tethered my laptop to my cell phone internet and loaded up the car to head to work. I continued the refresh process at every stop light until after about 15 minutes when I finally got to see the magic BUY button. So I pulled over and clicked it....only to receive that server error once again. I refreshed and tried a second time.......This time I made it in and was able to purchase my tickets.......

So in short I spent 4.5 hours refreshing my browser, at home and on the road, to have the privilege of spending my 168.00 for two tickets......what an honor for me. :) sense the sarcasm :)

I had a similar experience years ago but the tickets were sold out back then, I'm glad that I was able to get them this time around.

Seems to me the IT issue is a big problem in the Ten Club.

Congrats on the tickets, but if you read correctly the onsale time for Chicago was 12 pacific time or 2pm Chicago. Not 10C fault you were on for four hours. Have an extra by chance?

Too bad you didn't notice that Chicago tickets didn't go on sale until 2pm local time. You would have saved yourself a lot of pain.

Pre-sales can be frustrating, but let's all remember we're lucky 10C does a pre-sale at all. What's way more frustrating is getting completely blown out by scalpers with automated dialers during a public onsale. The reality of the EV tours is Ed plays intimate venues and there's just going to be more demand than supply because he's playing 3K or smaller amphitheaters. Some of us are going to win, some are going to lose just through sheer supply and demand. I got shut out on the 08 tour and managed to hit on this one. I'm just appreciative 10C gives us the opportunity as fans to have a chance before everyone else. Still a great fan club and has been more than worth the money year after year. As far as people complaining about the ticket prices for the EV shows, to see a performer of Ed's caliber in a theater that small for $75-$90 is a steal. Going to be a great tour. Best of luck to everyone still trying to get tix.

The tickets for NYC were in my cart. Then I clicked Check Out and it timed out on me after a few min. After reloading it said the tickets were removed from my cart because the time limit expired. I tried again, but by then it said they were temporarily out of stock. Ugh, so disappointing and frustrating.

Had tickets in my cart expire for RI, CT and NY. Got to the submit credit card step for CT and was told my tickets expired. Can't believe I'm actually looking forward to a Ticketmaster sale.

Agreed. Understand that 10C can only do so much. Ed is playing tiny theaters for this tour so the demand will obviously be high.

I was lucky enough to get a pair of tix to the Wiltern gig today. I clicked on "buy" for the Wiltern tix and then it said tix weren't available and my page timed out. Oh well, I figured LA was sold out. I went to try to get the Santa Barbara tix instead as an alternative but the site said I couldn't buy them as I already had tix in my cart. Weird. I checked my cart and it turned out the Wiltern tix were in my cart afterall. I proceeded to buy the Wiltern tix but I didn't want to get my hopes up. Luckily everything from that point moved smoothly and I was able to buy the tix. I got my e-mail confirmation and the tickets are showing up in my "purchases" section. Needless to say, I feel very lucky and fortunate to get these tickets. Thanks 10C!

I got shut out of the EV 10C tix back in 2008 as well for the exact same log jam of people trying to buy tix all at once. I had the same feeling then that most 10C members are having now. I was pretty disappointed then.

All I can say is keep trying to see if any more tix open up thorugh 10C and try for the Ticketmaster on sale later this week. I remember getting shut out of the Ticketmaster on sale back in 2008 too. It sold out in seconds. Maybe 10C can arrange a special pre-sale via Ticketmaster just for 10C members before the general on sale? I remember 10C doing that for the most recent Madison Square Garden PJ shows.

Best of luck to you all. Hope you get tix one way or another.

Tried for Boston, got in no problem, clicked the "buy" button, got directed back to the "buy" screen, hit "buy" again and got a message saying something to the effect that I could only purchase 1 pair of tickets... no shit! but i'm only going where you (your link) send me. then i figure maybe they're in my cart - nothing. then i go back and get the "face ripped off" screen. "Face ripped off"??? My computer was almost ripped off my fucking desk at work and thrown out the 7th story window. Fuck my Eddie Vedder/Pearl Jam obsession. Nah... I can't be mad. Waited a few minutes and got into the NY tickets and got a pair for the 21st. Now I have to haul my ass to a shity I really hate and see him there. You win some... you lose some.
It drives you FUCKING nuts though...

  • Well color me a dumbass. I did not realize that Chicago was a 2pm start time. :) I wasn't complaining anyway. Damn glad I got them.

No extras though, sorry. Two huge fans going to that show in Chi-Town.

There were tickets available on the Wang Center (Boston) web site before the 10C pre-sale. A friend of mine sent me the link but I thought I'd try my luck with the 10C seats first.

In 2008 I actually got tickets through Ticketmaster the day before the show in Boston. I checked back religiously for weeks after the 10C and Ticketmaster sale and they were sold out, then I figured, "fuck it" and checked the day before the show and there were some available - about 10 rows back from the stage... dead center. I've NEVER had that experience through Ticketmaster before (or since) - usually your up in god's country trying to figure out if Eddie has a beard this tour and if Stone has long/short hair. And by the end of the show - you still don't know.
    Good luck!

    i'm calling BS as well...
had tickets for the Detroit show... got to step three (credit card info) entered my info and hit the process payment button and was directed back to the first step of the checkout process.....
    lovely...
tickets were in my cart for 10 mins as I continuously tried and tried to check out.... unsuccessfully...

tickets are now out of my cart and the show is seems to be 'out of stock'

    not too happy......
not sure why the servers are not in place to handle the traffic.... unacceptable to have 500 errors every time on a refresh especially dealing with credit card numbers.

Happened to me for Chicago, was dancing around my office one minute, crying the next!

The system totally needs some modification. I missed on them for the last solo tour, but my wife was barely able to get TicketBastard seats. This time around I signed on 15 minutes before the sale and I was able to get mine after 7 minutes of constant refreshing and error messages...UGH!!! My friend however got kicked out multiple times and had to refresh for 45 minutes & finally got tix; so persistance did pay off. Not the best experience, but it will be well worth it...unless the seats totally aren't they great :|

Same issue as most others here. Refreshing and refreshing. At one point had tickets and timed out. Went back to square one with the ripped off face. I guess it is the ticketmaster way or a scalper again. Seems like through 10c that is what I do most of the time anyhow.

No PJ in the Twin Cities area since 2006. This will be my last re-up for the 10c. I mean, we would like tickets. That is why we join. But when the band doesn't tour your city that sold out two shows in '06, I can't figure them out. Even after a new album. Seems like bands touring is like pulling teeth anymore. And I know everyone will say they tour all over and you can travel to see them. Not everyone can afford it, and some people's jobs (like mine) really don't have the flexibility because of my travel. I will buy their album and pay a scalper to get way better tickets than my fan club status can get. And be up money probably over paying a fan club $40 for 5+ years between shows. I was trying to be a good guy and support the band however I could. Not any more.

No love for tickets, and no love for Nor Cal. I had a feeling it would sell quickly but I was ready quarter to 2 and I was on only to be blindsided by multiple site crashes that faded to "temporarily out of stock" to "out of stock." How absolutely frustrating! They really need to improve this system but still I understand there's going to be many left out with such a small tour with small venues.
And why no San Francisco show? I'm just bummed cuz now I gotta fight for some ticketmaster tickets after getting "trampled" by 10C...
    already in love
  • Wow, the presale today was a total fiasco. I'm glad Ed is selling tickets like mad, but the system was so bogged down most of us couldn't even get through. I was on the website ready to go ten minutes before the sale opened. When it was Go-Time the website kept bouncing between the Buy screen, Temporarily Out of Stock messages, and my cart but I couldn't get to the screen where you process a payment. What a complete and thorough disappointment.

It's pretty ridiculous. I never had this problem with getting PJ tickets in the 2 years I've been a 10C member. I tried logging in this morning starting 5 minutes before they went on sale and by 30 minutes past the hour I gave up after repeatedly getting error messages. SO in order to get the pair of Seattle tickets in which my girlfriend and I already planned a summer road trip behind, I resorted to going on one of those scalper sites to buy tickets and I CAN"T BELIEVE I ACTUALLY DID THIS but the impulse overcame me and I fuckin spent over $1000 on a pair of front row tickets to the Seattle show. This is the one and only time I will ever spend this large of sum on concert ticket but I KNOW IT WILL BE WORTH IT! ... Still kinda feeling sick that I couldn't get tix through the club and that some asshole is cashing in big time. Ed better play Lukin' July 15th for me goddamit!
