Friday night we picked out 2 songs we wanted to hear, and long road was the opener It took so much willpower to not bawl my eyes out. Light Years, Thumbing my way, Kids are alright, Lukin to Porch. Pure bliss.
To the moron (sorry but there is no other way of putting it) in the front row that continually took pics/video footage. Your blatant disrespect was so clearly OBVIOUS to the artist on stage. It was his request that no footage be taken. If your desire was to disregard it, be discreet about it. I wish Pete had taken you by the scruff of the neck and booted you out, but he was very polite to not destroy the show for the people on the end. (Said moron was sitting smack bang in the middle). At the end of the show, your rant that there no longer is a democracy as you were not freely able to film/photograph the night, OMG. If only i was 6 feet tall and male as i would have clocked you.
I could write so much more, but for now, it was a breathtaking honor. Ed thank you for allowing us into your world and sharing your passion. Josh i hope our predictions for the Adel shows come true - fingers crossed!

generallyElectric, yes i was sitting in row B, seat 10. I would like to take credit for nudging the questionable guy in the front row but it was the guy to the left of me. He nudged him quite a few times but obviously said guy was 'thick' :roll:
Oh and Arc, how did i leave that off the highlights :oops:

generallyElectric i forgot to say, pity about the pic but you have the memories and thats much more precious. Last year the day before the MSG gig Ed walked past me on Bleaker St in NYC. I ran after him thinking ok here we go, ask for a photo, autograph, song request... Instead i took a few pics slyly as i felt bad interrupting him and had the case of OMFG i can't believe this is happening. People can't believe i didn't stop him but he was with his partner and i wanted to be respectful. My point is, when i retell the story, i am always grinning from ear to ear I might not have the autograph etc but i have the memory and that will be with me for life.

WOW! Cool story! I can't imagine seeing Ed & Jill walking down the street. I would be absolutely gobsmacked, just stand there like a guppy & dreams of autographs, a photo etc would evaporate like you I'm sure.

Such a beautiful show. Food for the soul. It's a week later and I still can't get the smile off my face. Took my fella. He has always loved Ed and PJ music but as never been to a show. Watched him fall. Now he truly gets it. Nothing like the sense of community at a PJ/Ed concert. All peakin' on the same true vibe. So happy! Thanks again Eddie
