Where were you when the world premiere for the "thriller" video happened?

We didn't have cable that early in the 80's, so I had to wait until "Friday Night Videos" on NBC got the rights to air it. Watch this and then you can attempt to tell me you weren't in for an awesome hour of music videos!

and FNV was edited too...I remember watching it and a video would be on, and I'd be at a friends house, and the same video would be different.

Boy oh boy, the 80's. Spent my teenage years in the 80's. Wore frilly shirts in the 80's, drew squiggles on my face in the 80's. Got liberated and wore no bra or make up in the 80's. Spent a lot of time in espadrills in the 80's. Lost my virginity in the 80's. Met my hubby in the 80's :D Started smoking in the 80's. Had my first panic attack in the 80's. Got wasted in the 80's. Repeatedly woke up with sick in my hair in the 80's.

Do I miss anything from the 80's ..... nah, it wasn't my favourite decade.

If you are a screenwriter in Hollywood, would you get fired if you went to the head of a studio and uttered "I have an original idea for a movie!"?
