Small Wonder, a show about a man who invents a robot little girl and passes her off as his daughter.
I don't know how PC it would be in today's world, Some people like to assume the worst.

    BEST PRESENT EVER.

Other then the N.E.S. and some awesome action and comedy movies, I could do without much of the 80's.

I remember studying the TV guide each week in hopes of finding a Garfield or Charlie Brown special .... and then just waiting for it to come on. We didn't have internet porn and had to rely on used Playboys that were passed on through a network of older brothers. Don't get me started on the music as my tape collection from the 80's is a trainwreck save a few Springsteen tapes. Nuthugger shorts. TV's that you had to walk up to change manually with maybe a total of 5 channels to choose from. :(

Most importantly, there was no Pearl Jam.

Yeah, but I grew up in the Midwest where I was subjected to Warrant and John Cougar Melloncamp by the local DJ's. I think I first discovered Mother Love Bone in 1993.

But yeah, I forgot about Huey. Long live Huey Lewis and the News!

I will give props to the quality of toys. GI Joes, Star Wars, and Transformers were built to last (well, except the vehicals :D ). Plus you could still buy toy M-16's that actually looked like M-16's. None of the pussy orange on the tips of our toy guns!

Mellencamp is a supporter of Indiana University. He can burn in hell ;)

All admit, my memories of Mellencamp may have been tarnished by his "Our Country" Chevy campaign.

    I miss..
    Threes company
    21 Jump Street
    Mr. Wizard
You can't do that on television
    Remote Control
    Police Academy movies
    IOU sweatshirts
    Parachuet pants
    Mullets
One earing in your left ear, unless you were gay of course

most of all, I miss the pad of paper next to the house phone that had the people names that called for you.. then you would call them back, and leave a message with somebody.. and eventually, you may get to talk to this person.. Timing was everything in the 80's!!
