iPad 2 is worth every penny

    i heard on a techno blog I go to that the major problem with it so far is the back screen leaks?

    oh dear...you dont know who steve french is? I wanted to contact bubbles and ask him if he can make bulk copies of the automatic weed feeding maching he made steve french when he put him back in the wild. I think that would calm my puggle down.....and his owner ;)

    No. I was just joking on that one. I have a jail broken iPhone as well that I use to tether.

    Is there a way to use the evo without paying?

    couple of ways....you can do a full on root job, which is beyond me.

    i use a app called Z4root (you have to side load it). it will give you root access until you reboot on the evo. i don't think it does everything that a full root does, but it does what i need it to do.

    i ten use wireless tether from the market to create a hot spot. works like a champ

    Do I need the side load wonder thingy in order to install the app you mentioned for tethering?

    you either need to do a full root, xdadevelopers.com is where i would start if you want to go that route

    or you need to load up something like z4root. i believe i have version 1.3, althought 1.4 is out now. don't know the difference. google z4root apk and you can find it.

    before you install, on your evo, click menu, settings, applications and make sure you uncheck the unknown sources, otherwise it won't let you install.

    I can't justify another $500 for another iPad when last years model still works great. And it sounds like the 3rd one will be coming out this winter.

    the orginal ipad 16gb wifi verision is going for ~350 on ebay

    150 bucks to upgrade.

    Yes! That is why I didn't spend the extra money on a 3G iPad.
