i was in the same boat,...after multiple crashes/attempts, was finally able to secure a Built To Spill poster, only to have the site crash again, but every time i returned to the site the poster was still in my cart thankfully but then the site crashed again,...long story short, after an hour of trying to get back in, the Built To Spill poster was sold out and my cart was empty but i clicked around the site and when i returned to the BTS poster it was available again and i picked it up

It costs too much for him to make changes. Probably has spent three times more than he originally thought. I can see him sitting at home now:
Again? I need more bandwith and faster servers again? Thats it IM done with this!
it's like you're reading my mind....
Thought we had this all figured out, new web host that could handle all the traffic.
The site is designed so that if you put a poster in your cart, it stays there...even if you leave and don't purchase it. It should remain in your cart until you buy it...not sure if that is true if it crashes, but it should be...so if you had posters in your cart and were on your way to check out, and it crashed...in theory, they should still be in your cart waiting to be purchased. Do to the heavy traffic and clunkiness of the site, i can't guarantee this to be true for all cases because i don't know what is actually transpiring with the technical side of the site, as that is in the hands of those who work on that side.
Please keep in mind what i stated in the sale announcement...
"I also have a few Pear Jam posters left over....keep in mind most of them, I only have 1 or 2 left, others I have a few more...but not a lot"
If you are bummed because you didn't get what you wanted, there wasn't a lot of inventory...i am assuming most folks were hoping to get a dusseldorf...that was one of the posters i had 1 left of. So there weren't a lot of posters available for this sale.

Thats a great thought about "put it in the cart, it stays in the cart" that is not what happened today. Thanks for the sale though, Brad! Keep up your good work!

I was frustrated the first 3 times his site crashed but this time I expected not to get anything and I in fact got nothing. So I feel that maybe being a pessimist is the way to go in the poster world. Again not Brad's fault. Keep workin on the posters and leave the complaining to us (the pessimists).
