Actually, its very close to doubling. Pearl Jam in 2005 $52.50, in 2010 $86.50
What I'm saying is that industry wide I dont think that ticket prices have gone up as much as PJ/EV have over that same timeframe. It's a discussion for another thread, but dismissing the Radiohead stuff by saying ticket prices have gone up in the last 5 years isn't a fair look when you compare how other bands have increased prices in comparison to PJ/EV/etc.

$92 is kind of absurd. Radiohead played the tower in '06 and charged $45 a ticket and that's an entire band vs. one guy. That being said, I'll be there.

Radiohead tickets in 2008 were $91 by the way
I'm not going to go through the other threads, but if you look at a lot of 'large' bands you'll see PJ has gone up more %wise than a lot of others.

Again I'm not complaining about it because they are still lower than many, but they have definitely taken some bigger jumps over the last 5 years compared to others.

You would be wrong. All big time acts are this price or higher. Radiohead tickets were $91 in 2008 and you said they were $45 in 2006.

man, i am like a kid again today. what a great day. the trifecta would be for 10c to announce the pre-sale for members...(using my jedi mind tricks...please 10c, please have a presale!! you guys are like obi-wan kenobi...our only hope!!"

oh, and edit: I can't take money with me but i can take the EV memories. I will gladly pay this price for another evening with the oh so talented one who gives us such magic. Life is good. Stop buying coffee for a few weeks outside the house and save for the show...these experiences are more valuable then money...

I will pass this time around for the Tower. I will never visit upper darby PA again.

But this is good news, bring on the Beacon.

Id be surprised if there were no 10C seats, I think that is standard language in any PJ or EV contract for a show.

And plenty of time to announce in the next day or two and have the 10C sales next week. Recently, I think the 10c sales have been a couple of days before the fan club presale, and then the public onsale.
It is what it is. $100 or so to spend a few hours with a professional musician. Spend two hours with me and it will cost you $1000.:lol::lol:

    $94.50 is the price.

Damn, Eddie wasn't messing around with that price. I will pass on this. I can not justify paying that much to see Eddie solo when I pay less to see PJ.

I saw radiohead twice on that tour and tickets were not $91. Tickets were $35 for lawn & $55 for pavillion (before fees) for the 2 shows I attended.

Yeh I saw the charges too. Obviously that'll be double through 10C cos 2 tickets will have too be purchased.

Is $78 a ticket a reasonable price for gigs in America? That works out roughly 47 gold english pounds

Not for a solo show. Full band shows yes but not a solo.

Not in Camden. I think I paid about $50-$60 for Pit tickets face value. Which was close to what I paid to see them at MSG back in 2001. They have kept their tickets affordable. Pearl Jam have increased much more dramatically that most bands out there and there is plenty of proof of that happening.

And I paid $50 last year to see Thom Yorke's band (including Flea) at the Roseland in NY. That was a reasonable price.
