Hey arq. you planning on tallying up the total donations at the end? I'd be interested to see how much was donated by 10c peeps, plus what donations were matched by the organizations. extra work for you, i know, but just a thought...

    :)

I'll do it at the end of the week, but I would like to say $0 to encourage people to donate ;) but if i find a couple of minutes tonight I'll do it, do you want names?

No. no need to make it a competition. Just out of curiosity...to see how much we raised.

I regularly give to Drs w/o Borders but their site says you cannot specifically donate for Japan at this time. That's not a problem, right? :D
So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream

I work for the Red Cross and have already donated, but wanted to say thank you.

Anyone who has seen one image of what is going on over there and doesn't feel the need to do something, well they must have a heart of stone.

Oh and I have Ed's signature on my Who bandana, this is definitely legit. :D He must like to doodle, because he drew a little extra something on mine as well.

You're dead right about people who dont want to do something as having a heart of stone. I've already donated some $ to the "Save the Children fund" and am going to donate more when I can afford to. I felt really helpless when I saw some footage of a boatload of children rescued from a day care centre. Their parents were probably deceased. The looks on the children's faces, I'll never forget how they looked.

I'm humbled at so many people donating but they don't want any price, they just wanted to "hi five" the collective effort of the fan base

aren't my prices good enough for you?

You guys are too generous! :D

    On the contrary!
    They're quite tempting, indeed :D

Glad a lot of people took the donation as an act itself.
The smaller amount of people, the better for the participants: good luck everyone! ;)

My son donated $9.55 from his piggy bank (he is 7). My wife and I donated $50.00.

No need to put us in the drawing, but wanted to say thanks for the effort.
