TWO big announcements tomorrow on 101.9 RXP N.Y.

tomorrow at 7am during the morning show with Matt pinfield they will be announcing TWO big tour announcements ... if you ask me one of them is a Foo fighters tour and other will be Eddie Vedder tour announcements .. every time they talked about the announcements they either played a Foo fighters song or the new Eddie vedder song.. either before or after the announcement

I feel like PJ/10C/EV/whatever you want to call this organization would be sending out a 'tweet' a few days before an announcement so that 10C members have an opportunity to renew.

I'm saying since they usually state that you must be a current member as of __/__/____ (insert date here) in order to purchase tickets, they usually seem to tweet before a tour announcement to have your membership in order at least a few days before the announcement.

You're not quite interpreting what I'm saying right, which could be my fault.

My membership is fine, but the organization clearly has a precedent in the formatting of a tour announcement. First come rumours and leaks (beyond their control perhaps), then comes the 'get your membership in order' tweet, then come the Ticketmaster postings, followed by 3-4 other sites reporting the news, followed by 10C's tour announcement with pre-sale dates (sometimes as early as immediately) and on-sale TBA.

If you never let your membership slip into the 90 day grace period you have nothing to worry about unless you are a scalper or someone new and decide to join the 10 Club at the last minute to get tickets you will most likely be screwd. You are right at the time of the announcement they will probably say you had to be a member on such and such date to qualify.

If you are a current member never fall in the 90 day grace period you will be just fine.

How can I make this any clearer for you. You have been a member for quite a while judging by your post count. If you are not in the grace period at the time of the announcement and were a few months prior you are fine.

If you read my post instead of just commenting you would see that I agreed with you. They will give that you must have been a member since blah, blah, blah. That is to prevent scalpers and people joining the day of the announcements or shortly before because of rumors. This shouldn't affect you at all.

If you want to know if we know what that cutoff date is for anything this year, no one can answer that for you.
