but if you look at their concert schedule: http://www.foofighters.com/us/tour they don't have much time for a us tour, unless it's in july. Or september.....hmmmm labor day anyone?

How can I make this any clearer for you. You have been a member for quite a while judging by your post count. If you are not in the grace period at the time of the announcement and were a few months prior you are fine.

If you read my post instead of just commenting you would see that I agreed with you. They will give that you must have been a member since blah, blah, blah. That is to prevent scalpers and people joining the day of the announcements or shortly before because of rumors. This shouldn't affect you at all.

If you want to know if we know what that cutoff date is for anything this year, no one can answer that for you.

I honestly didn't mean for this to be anything but a civilized back and forth discussion to get us on the same page, so I'm sorry if I came off as anything but that. All I've been trying to say from the start is that the tweet is usually the precursor to a tour announcement, and so, in my opinion, until we see a tweet, I don't believe we will see a tour announcement. Again, I absolutely didn't mean to offend or anything.
