    The money is not bad if you're only going to one show. It's when you shell out $350 for 2 shows where it gets bad.(if you're getting pairs from the 10c). Especially if the shows are pretty much 90% the same.

    I loved both LA shows in 08 or whenever they were, but I was mildly disappointed about the repetitive nature of the 2nd show.

    Enough so that I will have a serious debate as to whether or not I'll attend a 2nd this time around.

    Fortunately I'll have the East Coast leg to give me a heads up about the set lists.

    If being truthful and realistic without blinders = debbie downer then so be it. I spoke of the truth. Based on Wilds explanation of overpriced, if we want to get technical by dictionary definitions, then maybe that was the wrong word. I will change my adjective to greedy. He is greedy. They are greedy.

    And tiered pricing pretty much sucks. Nosebleeds at the Spectrum were the same price as front row. That is essentially the same as charging $300 for front row tickets. Overhcarging for nosebleeds...undercharging for front rows. If you averaged up the prices of a show ranging from $150 - $40 tickets in an arena I would be willing to bet the average comes in lower than charging the same for every seat. It is a clever way to hide maximum profit.

    What I don't understand is...if Eddie will tour theaters and sell out at $90 then why won't the band tour the south doing just that? They seem to think they have to play an arena to justify touring an area. I don't know if it's ego or money or what.

    It's all just my opinion obviously and I will be voting with my wallet. In spite of my complaining I would probably still consider going if the shows looked different that the previous shows I went to. As of now, they are looking pretty similar. The Tower in Philly is an amazing venue though and hopefully some new people get to experience the shows.

    Very curious to see the final "official" schedule. If there are two nights in Boston I probably won't go to Hartford. One night then most likely I will.

    Please don't make us go through another TBD fiasco.

    A very fair opinion. One I disagree with, but fair none-the-less.

    I find bands traditionally keep prices artificially low for their fans. Real market value is exposed in the free second hand market, and it is not pretty.

    It has been discussed a lot about how and why EV and PJ arrive at the price that is set. Some feel it is greed, I feel there are many, many factors, most of which we will never be privy to.

    And yes we all vote with our wallet. Every single time. It is the only power we have.

    Collectively we are totally fine with the price of tickets for both PJ and EV solo shows.

    I am with you JimmyV. If there is a 2nd show, most likely the day before, I wont be going to Hartford. But I bet Hartford on a Sat night would be a blast. Though I have a 20th anniversary show to save up for.

    I have been to 4 Ed shows, and IMO he is worth every penny. I absolutely love his live shows, infact i am more excited about the prospects of seeing him again this summer than i would have been at seeing a full Pearl Jam show.

    His setlist seems slightly more varied now than it was when he first started touring, although obviously nowhere near the PJ shows. If the opportunity arises, i'd definitely go check him out again on back to back nights.

    Ed puts on an excellent show..But, as of right now I am not going any of shows..Specially if I have to travel a long distance....Right now, each day that goes by I am losing my passion for the band pearl jam...I can't explain the reasons why...Just not into the band as much as I use to be..
