I should win because my birthday was Oct 9th and all I asked my husband for was a new DVD version of Single Video Theory because I still only have it on VHS...and what did he get me?? A butter dish (I wanted one but...)! I just wanted a Pearl Jam related gift this year... but I never got it. I like the buter dish, but a Pearl Jam poster would be ever better!! PLEASE let me win!!!

I should win because my girlfriend and I of 10 1/2 years just broke up. We got together because of Pearl Jam on Eddie Vedder's birthday. Now I am in need of an Apartment because the lease is in her name. So I am losing the girl (who was my best friend), the apartment, and the cat who I love dearly.. To top it all off, I may be losing my job as well. I'm in need of some positive pearl jam influence. Once I find a new job Im also going to need a PJ fan that wants to travel to different cities to see them live. I lost my road warrior as well...
In my very early 20's I had started going to shows downtown Seattle and happened upon PJ one night....other than this nothing lucky has ever happened to me!
But seriously, my dad passed out on the side of the road, the EMT's found him and airlifted him to Spokane, WA. to the ICU three weeks ago. I spent 2 1/2 heart-wrenching weeks traveling about 500 miles round trip to be with him for days at a time while trying to raise three kids and keep life normal for them. My family finally had to follow the decision that my dad had already made for himself through his will and unhook him from the respirator and he died a half hour later. We still don't know what happened to him, maybe a seizure. His funeral was yesterday, he was a healthy, very young 70. This was preceded by my closest brother committing suicide last year. I am devastated and could use something happy to look at. I should at least win sob story of the day!
Take nothing and nobody for granted, because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

I would like the poster because it would be my first Pearl Jam poster. My girlfriend and I got a Radiohead(her favorite band) poster on the recent tour and realized that I need a PJ poster to show my love, too.

I'm a college student who certainly doesn't have a ton of money. That's actually one of my favorite posters from the tour, and I'm putting together a collection of posters that I will frame and have for the rest of my life. I would never resell it, and as someone who has a friend in Iraq, that poster and the band's message take on extra meaning for me. I'd love if I got the poster, but I understand there are other people who you could easily give it to as well. This is a great idea, and it's great to see PJ fans who are so giving.

Umm ive been a dedicated fan my whole life, I have all of PJ's cds and the immagine dvd ohh uhh and i digg posters I'd frame it and put it on my wall, i dont already have a poster..
Im fifteen thus have no job so don't have money for posters.
Uhh thats all I can think of hahah.
Because...I just spent the last 24 of 48 hours on the trauma unit that I work as a RN at taking care of people and every time I put my head down my right arm falls alseep because of the new lesion that has developed on my cervical spine (I call my new lesion Stan) because I have MS...and I need proof that karma works : )
