Ok im gonna try not to babble here but 30 min ago i was outside with my basketball.. when i was done i put the basketball in my backyard which is gated mind you.. So about 10 mins ago i look outside and i see 2 little kids running out of my yard with my basketball!! So i put shoes on and when down the street and the little kid is coming up my street so i said "hey kid were did you get that basketball " he said " oh i found it in the road" i looked at him and said "thats my ball and you know dam well you went into my backyard and took out".. kid had nothing to say looked like he was about to shit in his pants.. The part that pissed me off the most is that the kids were so young!! i swear they were probably 7&8 !!! Whats this world coming too when 7 and 8 year olds are stealing!!! I mean what else are they gonna do?! One day there gonna fuck with the wrong person and the outcome is not going to be pretty.. Sorry for the babble i just needed to get that off my chest..

EDIT: I DID get my ball of course :)

Why am I suddenly afraid that you will wake up tomorrow morning and find your house covered in toilet paper?

in 20 years, when they are one of the greatest players of all time for the celtics they might remember this moment.

Or alternatively, in 20 years when they are in jail they might remember this moment too

That's good, had this happened in my neighbourhood, I'm fairly certain you'd have stood 50% chances of getting in trouble with the parents for annoying their kids :? .

...rapidly followed by a call from the parents to the a lawyer, saying, "Pearl Drummer is antagonizing our children and suppressing their ability to express themselves in a larcenous manner."

When I was playing high school field hockey we were at practice one day and a group of boys _ quite a bit younger than us _ started throwing rocks at us on the field. After being narrowly missed by a couple of good-sized rocks, we signaled to each other and all at once turned and ran at the kids, brandishing our sticks. They ran, and looked terrified. We caught two of them in the adjacent field and _ I can't believe this now but it's what we did _ we took off their shirts and kept them. I remember us saying, "Explain to your mother why you're coming home without your shirt. And if you want it back, we'll be here every day this week."

Of course now we'd be arrested and probably facing some kind of indecent assault charge.

I will say, though, that they never showed up again.

(Not my finest hour, I admit it. But I was 15 and a fool. Maybe 16. Possibly 17. No older, though...)

I know. I mean, whatever happened to vigilante justice as provided by a pack of field hockey stick-weilding, pants-stripping adolescent girls?

The world is going to hell in a handbasket.
